Well, it helps to keep your spending down, and your savings up. Don't splash out on eccentric stuff, only buy the cheap vitals. Having a savings account is vital, too. Whatever you can save will eventually increase, but at the moment, it's tiny amounts of interest, only 0.5% bonus per annum. Also, don't party or go out so often. Indulge in what you have here, make the most of the games you play, surf the Youtubes or Spotifys or whatever. You don't have to party out in order to have a good time.

To summarise, go cheap, save up, make the most of your internets.
