Maybe, but you're gonna have to showcase a lot of confidence.
Eh, I would sort of disagree.
In Judaism, there's a very strong sentiment of desire to go back to Israel. Once we were pretty much kicked out of our homeland by the Romans in 70 CE, there's been a constant theme in the Jewish culture of going back to Israel that lasts to this day. The logic of birthright is so Jews can go to Israel and see their historical homeland for free and explore its history.
That's the idealized version of justifying Birthright. A lot of birthright is essentially Israeli propaganda and while they allow discussions and disagreement, it's still going to sink in a bit. There's also the fact that Birthright is essentially a matchmaking service for Jews. The trip is paid for by a few rich Jews who are conservative and are concerned about intermarriage, so they figure that having young teenage Jews together in a coed group will lead to fucking and dating which does happen. Ethan Klein from H3H3 has expressed disgust towards birthright, saying it's racist but as far as the birthright organizers are concerned, he paid back the money invested in his trip by meeting Hila and marrying her.
It's complex but in general, I think that it's worth it. They offer trips for every sort of interest and while it's kinda propagandy, it's still a free vacation.
I'm going on a special version of Birthright where I'm going to take a counterterrorism course as well and while I dont expect it to be balanced, we will stay with Bedouins and speak with Arab community leaders so eh. Mainly I'm going on the trip to see if I want to go into intelligence, to explore Israel a bit more, and maybe find a gf on the trip if everything works out.
yeah, I've got nothing against seeing the place where your entire culture and religion basically came from / formed around but it's just the propaganda part that gets me a little uncomfortable, and that part about setting you up to meet a jewish girl/guy over there to continue the culture eeks me a little.
but I feel as long as the benefactors aren't too pushy and are more conservative-conservative than zionist-conservative (and by zionism I meant the pseudo-colonial, nationalist ethnic homogeny sort). can't be that harmful I guess

I understand the appeal tho, just the potential motives of the people organising it makes me feel a lil... off
You know what annoys me more than toxic players sometimes? The people that do nothing but stop to type that the guy is being toxic.
Like I get it, the guy is being a dick, but there's no reason to stress yourself out to by trying to convince him to stop (It almost never works). If the guy is just being a dick, just mute him and report after the game is over. It's just something I don't understand how people have such a hard time dealing with that.
did someone ask for some
if so i've got you covered
if not then uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh bye i guess

oh i guess i also got some pepsi

iirc the benefactors range from liberal to conservative
personally i dont really mind the motives, everything has a motive behind it and birthright is explicit with their bias.
I recommend you read How to Understand Israel in 60 Days or Less, it's a short graphic novel by a liberal Jew who goes on a birthright trip and it's about her experiences during the trip. I'm right leaning so she'll give you the liberal POV.

"Taste the suffering you sinners.Repent yourself before too late"
If you hear me chanting this, better cover your nose, for my farts rival even the smell of the dead itself.
if there was a bed to support and fit 36 people on it
i would sleep on the part with no one on it
or if that's not an option the side with the least amount of people on it
I would sleep on the floor
I would sleep on the floor
i'd probably give you a blanket and a pillow
cause sleeping on the floor isn't comfy at all (especially if the floor is concrete.)
Sleeping on the floor is my last resort to cool myself down when dry season come.
not sure how I feel about having aired that shit out
but it's out there now
I request videos of cute spiders
truthfully nothing is cute. there are only dead things and deep regret.
😶🔫
My coworker got locked inside the bathroom. Many laughs were had.
She's not having a good day today. She probably needs a hug.

wise ideas?
the regret can't be thrown away. It can't be flushed down the toilet. It clings to you like your own personal shia lebouf demon on your shoulder telling your to do it
i'm pretty sure everyone's considered [sp]commiting suicide[/sp] at one point in their life.
oh me?
i've thought about it [sp]a ton. like i can count 20 different occasions in the past 5 years where i've just considered it. i probably need help.[/sp]
election today, still quick count, but a pair of assholes with fake promises won bc of one reason: they are obedient muslims, compared to the other pair of 'kafirs', who clearly had made a lot of changes for the past 5 years
fuck this city, fuck this country
