for some reason imagine what burre.png would sound like as a sentient bag of popcorn sounds really funny and adorable in my head but in reality it is not funny and it's not adorable it is horrifying

I am rediscovering how much fun pinball is. I visited an arcade bar during a pinball free play session a few weeks ago, and had a blast. Apparently having several balls in play at once ("multiballs") is a thing. Childhood me recalled playing 3D Pinball: Space Cadet on Windows XP for hours on end, but I can't find any worthwhile version of it that will run on a modern system. Pinball Deluxe on mobile is a wonderful time waster, but a part of me still yearns for the nostalgia trip or an actual board.

I take a huge step outside and watch an old man take some oranges from a bush with his cane. Took like five minutes to reach the top one but he got it in the end I'm proud.

Visited my aunt this afternoon, just got back from her house. Was nice catching up with her.

It won't replace playing a real one but if you want the fun that you get from playing pinball that will do it. Sucks that it is $$$ tho but one table pack is more then enough to get the craving you need.

A neat summer project would be to make a space caset handheld. All one would need to do is find a lightweight version of windows xp to stick on a raspberry pi or another chip that can run it, hardcode it to run Space Cadet only.
