Art, although having no true formula for application, is a science in itself. Making art requires training in art, as doing science requires training in whatever science it is.
The only thing is, there is no 1+1 to art. No answer that defines that it is, or is not complete, aesthetic, or otherwise 'art'.
It does, however, have a format to which it can be applied; art, in relation to physics, is much like the old children's toy with the shapes that fit through holes. The artist carves a block to a shape they know how, and let the audience full of holes find this block that fills need for art.
...and on that same term, art critics are usually pre-filled holes, since they always act like there's a wooden cube up their ass.
