this is the whole reason why we of ccof took over the thread temporarily to stop this shit, it's like the october revolution, take something bad away, get something good for a while, but then after a while something bad happens again (i.e. provisional government going down, lenin being placed, lenin dying and stalin taking over)
In honesty, I just like taking to you guys, watching movies and such... although gifts would be a nice bonus. It's a nice balance.
I'm saying it's like the modest people who have been there for I dunno how many GGT's and gotten nothing.
Not the "hey I want CS:S pls never been here gift me" person.
I'm saying it's like now only three or four people are being gifted, and only those three or four. I think you guys need to spread the love, not compact it into a small area.

don't be mad that you didn't fit in. and you can't deny the fact that a lot of people who weren't a part of the circlejerk were being gifted while we held the thread for 2 versions.

Also a lot of people seem to come in here thinking someone will buy them a $50 game, even if they have been here for a while. Then they complain when nobody does.
Main point I bring this up it kind of lowers your mood when you really want something and somebody who's been gifted a ton of games and hast a ton of games gets gifted.
It's like spending money to spend money rather than getting what you need, etc. I think more giftee variety needs to be introduced into this thread.
And no, Hobo, I'm not saying 50 dollar crap. I'm saying when there's like a raffle or a free giveaway from something that has already been bought it seems like it's only given to a certain few people.

To the same people. I've seen some people get countless gifts when other people deserve it more in a way.
It seems like gifts are going to those with a lot of games when some of use have barely any games. It feels like you're gifting a VALVe employee like Gabe who has several thousand games and doesn't need anymore really.

The main point of my argument is the gifting of people who already have more than their fair share of games. I can't stress enough how much I think it seems like we're gifting to the people with more. Hence the "rich get richer, poor get poorer" economy. Shouldn't you be working to fix that if you're an upper-class person rather than trying to rake in as much money as possible while everything else falls apart around you?

I gifted Mobrockers STALKER, and that was pretty much it. Right now I'm planning on going to the bank sometime this month so I can put money on my paypal and hold raffles and the like.
