At this point of time I have entered a point in the space time continuum where I am lost not only physically and mentally, but also spiritually and metaphysically lost in this conversation.
I'm a little surprised that ivory farms don't exist, but there's probably a practical reason why they don't.
Farming Rhinos and Elephants is a pain in the ass.
1 elephant is like 4-5 cows. They also breed very slow.

There is a legal substitute material for ivory. My grandmother does scrimshaw art (carving and inking intricate designs into ivory and tusk, etc.) There are legal means to purchase antique ivory before the pre-ban dates. There's a large amount of ivory that could be used, most of it isn't in circulation, they could easily stop poachers if they just allowed more antique ivory to be sold. I do not support killing animals for horns, but I do think that the stock that already exists shouldnt be destroyed or confiscated, you can keep the poachers satisfied by giving them older/more valuable stuff.
oh my god now she has "deviant tastes" and isn't allowed to use the brothel to recover stress ffs lovell you've been sitting around for weeks while other people adventured in your stead, get ur shit together
Isn't there a synthetic resin that has most of the properties of ivory?
Yes. That's the substitute. But there's also a huge stock of antique ivory that, before and after certain dates when it was obtained, I guess it can't be sold. It's stupid. It's already been cut, just let it be sold and you won't have people poaching more. There's so much ivory.
Enjoy the movie.
But I don't have any interest in it.
But I don't have any interest in it.
I said enjoy the movie.
