Despite what you may think from the title I'm an optimist. I love life, I love society and I love humanity. However I've endured an inhuman amount of stress lately, coped with incredible amounts of troubles and lacked moral support.
I just can't help but feel suicidal. If I explained my current situation I'm sure you'd understand me better, but I'd preferably not. I don't want to feel suicidal, so what should I do? How can I cheer myself up?
The only reply your going to get is what you've seen a thousand times on threads like this here, I can say don't do it, but then, who am I? A friend of mine at college killed himself over the weekend, and i've seen how it hurts people. Talk to people, and I mean real people, for help, not facepunch users who have no idea what they're talking about. It may seem like the best option for you, but it's the worst possible thing that could happen to anyone who knows you.
Masturbate.
I won't have many people to talk to though.
Play Minecraft
all negative feelings assuaged

Penis disease makes orgasms painful, no cure. Not an option.
Peyronie's disease.
Well, do you have a hobby you enjoy doing? Hell, just go out and live, go out with your friends and such.
I don't have much time for hobbies, games and friends. I'm supporting my cancer sick mother and my -insert 15 disabilities here- sister by working a job on top my education. Whenever I have spare time it's only for about 10-30 minutes at a time, and I spend it on Facepunch.
you could get drunk. That helps.

Sure, but not really a permanent fix, and I cope with a lot of shit each day, I don't think turning alcoholic would help.
Whenever I feel depressed I remember that I'm in the ~5th percentile for the standard of living on the face of this planet. To top that off, we live in an age of technology. It's expanding faster than we can keep up with it, look, we have to replace electronics every few years because they are becoming outdated. Seriously, this is like the 2nd enlightenment.
That always cheers me up.

I'd be suicidal too.

Sure, it's nice, but it didn't really do it for me.
Over the course of the last two months I talked to the Samaritans phone service, asked on Yahoo answers, talked to one of my IRL friends (who didn't really come up with any solution), so I simply ended up asking here on FP.

Only 1-4% have it.
Sucks to be you.
Wait dude, you've got a family to take care of, your mother and sister. Think of them, go on for them.

If my mother dies in chemo then I've only got my sister and she really isn't nice to me. Bipolar narcissistic splitpersonality shopoholic. I love her either way, but her uncle can take care of her, and I can't live without the little moral support I have from my mother. I'm not going to kill myself while my mother is still alive.
EDIT:
What the fuck, guys? In respect of my mother don't rate this funny.
Listen to Linkin Park
Completely snap, shot everyone that moves. Try to make pain go away with schizophrenia.
If I'm going out I'm going out with style, saving as many lives as I can.
Just remember that you're a part of Facepunch, and without you we would never be the same. We're a family here, and sure just like a family people steal, cheat, lie, and joke each other. But at the end of the day we would stand up and defend one another. You're part of that, and we love you...brother <3
YOU ARE A GREAT PERSON!! Did you know that you have enough energy inside yourself to power the whole city of New York for 4 days.
If it's real depression, you should talk to a doctor.
Spoil yourself for a day or two, go shopping, buy video games, see a movie, eat at your favorite restaurant, bring (a) friend(s).

It's not a permanent fix, but it'll cheer you up.
put a loaded gun to your head and pull the trigger
This song always helps me when I'm feeling blue.

Good idea, I'll bring it up next time I see him.
Lots of ways, for example;
1) Find a religion.
Sounds dumb, but believing that there's a higher power looking after you makes you care less about life,
and so you don't stress about some things, and a pray may make you believe the problem is gone.
2) Love
Being in love can make you care less about your surroundings and more on the person you love.
Having someone that loves you back also makes you feel special, and overall it makes you spent your life more valuable.
3) Spent $$$
Spenting money on yourself makes you enjoy yourself more, and can get you temporary entertainment that'll get your mind off whatever you're stressing about.
4) Hobby
Your stress and depression may be because you find your free time valueless.
A hobby will make you want to complete your work so you can get to the part of the day you favour.
Also a hobby involving constructing things will give you more self respect, watching your creation come to life.
Some of these have their bad sides though, for example the 1st one can make you fall deeper into a depression if people don't respect your religion needs,
3rd and 4th one requires money, and the 2th one and 4th one requires a decent ammount of free time.

I have tried, I've read both the bible and the Qu'ran, even before I was depressed. In the end I ended up on pantheism/atheism.

I know this, and it's not like I'm not trying, but a lack of time, self confidence and good looks shoots me down. I haven't been in a proper relationship for too long.

I do this.

I do this too, but I never really have time to carry it out.
Either way, I'm going to bed now, so I'm going to be gone from the thread until tomorrow or possibly the day after that.
Good night.
Well good. :frown:
Oh and, try listening to some catchy music, keeps your mind in peace.
