This should be standard for trucks and other large vehicles [vid]http://img.pr0gramm.com/2015/06/13/f1cdf45298e801c1.webm[/vid]
This summer was my first time taking the car and going by myself with some friends to a beach house in the coast, the trip is about 300 KM and man, those one lane both direction highways are a pain and obviously really dangerous when trying to overtake. This would make a nice solution, not specifically this concept with the screens, but something i guess cheaper, like a special sign or light that the truck driver can activate to let you know "Ok, i see no cars coming, you can overtake me". PD: now that i think of it, some drivers do something like this by turning the left blinker to let you know if you can overtake them, not all of them though.

First of all, most of the world builds it's road logistics like truck picks a trailer, drives it somewhere where he drops it or loads it and that's it, then other truck comes to pick it up to continue. So thinking about this, that would mean that all the trucks that operate in the country would have the camera build-in trucks? Also, that smells so expensive to even think about it. So far I've seen some high-class mercedes having this sort of nightvision cameras and that's not cheap car to get.

I mean unless your right up his ass you can see a decent way down besides the truck to know its okay to peek over and check for oncoming cars. I don't understand why this warrants a special video camera mounted to the front of the truck when it should be common sense of what to do in this situation.

There are a lot of people working on more intelligent solutions not relying on human perception that aren't too far off in the future.
Does this mess with anyone else?

looks like some horrible mutant from fallout at that angle
Hippo teeth are very strange. They are ground down quite easily and as they get older can take on some fairly gnarly shapes

[t]http://i.imgur.com/CqCrCUC.jpg[/t]
"It is the the pine tree left standing after the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami that swept away nearly 70,000 pine trees in the famed Takata Matsubara pine forest, Rikuzentakata town. Of the 70,000 trees, just one remained: the so-called “Miracle Pine.” The lone pine tree lived for 18 months after the disaster before it died due to saline soil conditions caused by the tsunami. Over the course of its 173 year life span it had survived three major tsunamis (1896, 1933, and 2011). The local government then decided to cut the tree into several parts for anti-decay treatment to keep it standing as a symbol of hope for reconstruction and the resiliency of survivors. The entire process was estimated to cost 150 million Japanese Yen ($1.5 million). The lone pine tree once again became the permanent monument. It will forever stand as a symbol, reminding the people of Japan that hope exists, life endures, and if this single tree could stand tall when 69,999 others could not, then Japan too can overcome the seemingly impossible task of rebuilding and moving forward."
Its the caduceus, it has two snakes and is used just as much as the Rod of Asclepius that youre thinking of.
