It's very clearly a guy getting hit over the head with a hockey stick.

I don't know about Russia, but in the UK at least all of the new McDonald'ses look totally different on the exterior, and the interiors have been totally changed even in the old ones.
Yeah, some of their buildings are totally different from that "village house" (or whatever it is) pattern, but there are also lots of small "basic" restaurants totally following it, and they look almost exactly like the one on that picture.
They're slowly remodeling all their restaurants. None of them near me look like that anymore. Though it may have not yet reached some in other countries.
I post this everytime a McDonald's discussion pops up in this thread but hey one more time won't hurt

While repeated attempts to move, refurbish and repurpose the McBarge have been submitted to the surrounding municipalities, none have been overwhelmingly accepted. The last proposal, made in 2012, is also presumed shelved.
