Stumbled across one of these psychopath tests where they ask what do you see. A hare, or A guy getting hit over the head with a pipe, or perhaps something else? [sp]It's a lake in northwestern Russia close to Finnish border lmao, called "Hare lake"[/sp] [sp]NASA image created by Jesse Allen, using Landsat data provided by the University of Maryland’s Global Land Cover Facility, 2008 or so.[/sp]
It's very clearly a guy getting hit over the head with a hockey stick. He even screams, his mouth is clearly open and he has a very cartoony nose. Either that or a decapitated bunny.
A helicopter
President Jimmy Carter shares a moment of sorrow with Mary Ann Dubs, the widow of slain Ambassador Adolph Dubs and daughter Lindsay, far right, at Andrews Air Force base in Maryland on Sunday, Feb. 19, 1979 as Dubs' body is returned to the U.S. for burial. What seemed like a routine traffic stop on February 14, 1979 turned into a harrowing kidnapping that later claimed the life of Adolph Dubs, the U.S. ambassador to Afghanistan. The 29-year career diplomat, known by his nickname, Spike, was en route to his office when he was stopped by apparent Afghan police officers who took him hostage. The four men brought him to the Kabul Hotel and issued a demand that three insurgent Muslim leaders be released in exchange for Dubs’ freedom. Afghan security forces, guided by Soviet advisers, stepped in to mediate, but talks broke down. Forces stormed the hotel room, and after a barrage of gunfire that TIME described as “‘a complete holocaust’ of gunfire and explosions,” Dubs was found dead. It was unclear if he had been shot by security forces or the terrorists, and nothing has since been proven.
Why does that make me feel so... relaxed.
If I had OCD, Im sure i would just stare into these complete repetitions for hours.
And then you look deeper into that void and a face stares back at you.

Poor Socialism....
Kind of funny that contemporary design of the majority of their restaurants is pretty much the same as 25 years ago.
Kind of funny that contemporary design of the majority of their restaurants is pretty much the same as 25 years ago.
I don't know about Russia, but in the UK at least all of the new McDonald'ses look totally different on the exterior, and the interiors have been totally changed even in the old ones.
Yeah, some of their buildings are totally different from that "village house" (or whatever it is) pattern, but there are also lots of small "basic" restaurants totally following it, and they look almost exactly like the one on that picture.
They're slowly remodeling all their restaurants. None of them near me look like that anymore. Though it may have not yet reached some in other countries.
I post this everytime a McDonald's discussion pops up in this thread but hey one more time won't hurt This is the McDonald's in Biltmore Village, Asheville, NC [t]http://roadtrip.oftheus.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Gatlinburg-Asheville-060.jpg[/t] [t]https://steffiandtim.files.wordpress.com/2014/03/img_1265.jpg[/t] The piano plays itself

During the 1986 World's Fair, McDonald's ran a floating resturant in Vancouver's False Creek, dubbed the FriendShip 500, or the McBarge. https://static-ssl.businessinsider.com/image/5539163e6bb3f7e2185577b2/mcbarge%20gif.gif The two floor structure served hundreds of thousands of customers during it's use over the summer months. After the fair ended it remained in the area for a few more years, before finally being carried around Burrard Inlet and moored just offshore from the Chevron Gasworks. It sat mainly untouched for almost 25 years until the popularity of Urban Exploration finally forced its owners to erect fences to keep unwanted guests out. In the years following the McBarge has rapidly fallen into a state of disrepair as it was repeatedly broken into, vandalized and gutted of any potentially valuable metals or collectible items. The barge has more recently begun developing a list as one of its front pontoon chambers fills with seawater. https://static-ssl.businessinsider.com/image/55391bbbeab8ea5971ac5d5a/inside%20mcbarge%201.gif https://static-ssl.businessinsider.com/image/55391bb969bedd140a83f31a/inside%20mcbarge%202.gif https://static-ssl.businessinsider.com/image/55391bbc6da8113c11e5e1c6/inside%20mcbarge%203.gif https://static-ssl.businessinsider.com/image/55391bbc6da811540fe5e1c6/mcbarge%204.gif While repeated attempts to move, refurbish and repurpose the McBarge have been submitted to the surrounding municipalities, none have been overwhelmingly accepted. The last proposal, made in 2012, is also presumed shelved.
Last pic makes it look creepy as hell.
