germans would imagine a desk that locks you in
tbh at least they got keyboard ergonomics sussed, which is something almost all business and mainstream peripheral developers haven't done still
A German take of what a deskjob would look like in 2000. (1967)
thats 60s sci-fi tbh

[t]https://i.imgur.com/3io2jKc.jpg[/t] Silly but interesting
Huh, thought that number would be lower here.
I thought it was interesting that the number is so low in Russia. Not because of the stereotype, but I wonder if its attributed to the popularity of liquors as opposed to beers.
Did they use the local beer price or an average European price?
Did they use the local beer price or an average European price?
From the site used as a source.
About these prices The price is set by the visitors by pressing the link above. It uses the average price of all user prices, so the more users who set the price, the more accurate it should be! The average price for each city submited is also shown.

Never would have thought V-1's could be shot down, I was under the impression that they were too fast to hit.
They used the Tempest for it mostly, they also used it as propaganda to scare the shit out of German pilots as well. Does it have photoluminescent shit in it or something?
V-2 couldn't, V-1 could with skill, barrage balloons, and later AA. Vaguely remember something about planes getting to extreme heights and then dive to get to the speed needed to take one down. (Pretty interesting as at times even just full throttling could blow up a plane engine) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V-1_flying_bomb#Countermeasures https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Crossbow
Suddenly "shoot down cruise missiles" missions you get in video games doesn't sound so absurd anymore.
fighters vs v1's
It's amazing that the engines in those fighters actually ran at all, considering how quick most of them were developed. They squeezed so much power out of such "small" and light packages that they would eat themselves alive at WOT, which is where shit like methanol and water injection came into play. Cooled the cylinders enough to keep the engine stable for short bursts of WOT. The superchargers they had also were made for high altitude and would force enough air into an engine that it effectively hydro-locks. WW2 fighters were fucking amazing.
Haha wtf is this real?
No. [editline]editline[/editline] Apparently I was mistaken, but I'd say fairly because I found nothing by googling for upcoming euro coins or even by reverse-searching the image.

Big jump in power, tho [t]http://www.spitfireperformance.com/Speeds_Spitfire_XIV.jpg[/t]
