Also a big key is probably shooting in RAW files so you can edit the exposure on your PC later. RAW is basically magic IMO, so many times one of my shots were completely underexposed and I just throw the Exposure up a bit and voila.
I wonder how is that even possible in a bit different way : with such a big shutter speed all nonstatic objects like trees/grass/ets must get blurry and uneven, but on both your and the other guy's photos they look surprisingly sharp. Or maybe it's just post-processing?
Lucky with there being little wind
The shutter speed was 30 seconds, the aperture was at 3.5, and I used as little as 800 ISO.

Hyenas are like one of the only mammals that I'm legit terrified of. I'd probably be more scared if I saw a pack of hyenas than stumbling across a grizzly bear and her babies. I have no idea why but I whenever I see a pic of one I immediately get the sense that it wants to kill me
striped hyenas look cool as shit

It's probably because hyenas are pack hunters, and are more likely to have friends with them, and because of the way our brain processes threats (magnitude rather than precise numbers) It's 9 times as scary to be attacked by 9 hyenas than one bear.
i went camping at glacier in montana and crested a ridge only to find a mother black bear and her cubs, and after hearing people go on and fucking on about the bears "even the black bears can kill" and "a bear is most defensive when near its cubs" and buying bear mace and laying out the bear attack plan in the car, one of us only had to whisper "oh shit" for the bear to shit a brick and haul ass without its cubs, i remember the look of abject terror and surrender in its eyes as it fled into the forest
here's some cool d&d characters with their companions

Hyenas reminds me of the large wolves used by the orcs:

My guess is that they were modeled after hyenas, there's definitely a resemblance

I wonder if they'd ever add VR support for that? If they got the sound working as well it'd be amazing.

They were probably designed to look inbred as well

It would be a neat novelty but there won't be any believable 3D effect.

What is that last gif showing exactly? I'm a bit confused by it.
[editline]duh[/editline]
Unless I'm reading too much into it and it's just showing that it's a plane?
EDIT:
DURRR solid landing gear on that model of plane DURRRRR
what
Basically, this was a Royal Navy cruiser that got smacked by a Japanese light attack aircraft, she was attacked by two of them, both Mitsubishi Ki-51s, and one left a very visible imprint on the hull after hitting. It's fairly unique as most such attacks did much more substantial damage, as the aircraft usually carried large bombs to maximise the impact. In this case the aircraft either had already expended it's armament during an attack and the pilot had decided to sacrifice his aircraft or the ordnance carried by the plane didn't explode on contact. In fact, it looks rather like the aircraft literally bounced off on htting the ship. The Ki-51 was notably lacking in speed, so it's quite possible that it simply lacked sufficient airspeed to actually damage the ship beyond a notable dent.
what
I was wondering why the landing gear were down, then a second after I posted that thought I remembered not all planes have retractable gear, so I edited it out in order to appear like a spastic fuckwad
