For once, gravity is actually NOT to blame for the state of a planet, it's actually like this because of Mars' planetary core having a premature cooling, which destroyed Mars' magnetic field, the atmosphere got stripped off by cosmic rays and water has a hard time staying in liquid form in the low pressure that is the current atmosphere of Mars.
A shame that terraforming mars will take a bloody long time and none of us will be able to see it
you mean like this? [T]http://i.imgur.com/1WuopEH.jpg[/T] [editline]4th October 2015[/editline] "modern" give or take 100 years
Another historical example a bit farther back, Eastern tribes were equipped with European tech, guns, tools, and clothing through alliances and trading. The juxtaposition of European clothing with war paint and hide leggings looks pretty cool.
You should clarify that this is Chernobyl radiation since not everyone can read Ukrainian.
A bit of inference is all you need. Cesium 137, Radiactivity, Ukraine is the hotspot, oh I wonder :v:
It was kind've obvious.
"kind've"?
I had an inkling that's what it was, but I wasn't totally sure to be honest.
for me it was the 137 that gave it away that number always reminds me of either Chernobyl or Rick&Morty

[t]http://i.imgur.com/9KDMqTK.jpg[/t] Here's a picture of the sun at night. Yes you read correctly. Here's the "camera". [t]http://i.imgur.com/IFtIG5y.jpg[/t] The image is produced by the constant spray of neutrinos the sun gives off, which pass through the Earth like it's basically not even there.

oh yeah this shit about neutrinos the first time I heard about them is because scientists were wondering where the fuck some mass had went, they use neutrino detectors to discover a supernova before it becomes visible because neutrinos are the first thing to be emitted before a star even collapses
"kind've"?
It should be a word.
Kind of. "Kind've" implies that the word kind would have done something. It's a modifier modifying a word that cannot be modified.
Kind of. "Kind've" implies that the word kind would have done something. It's a modifier modifying a word that cannot be modified.
I'm going to guess that it arose out of the incorrect usage of the word "of". "Should have" is often shortened to "should've" in writing, but when you pronounce that, it sounds like you are saying "should of". People then stupidly write "should of" instead of "should've". It's something that really pisses me off to no end because it's just plain wrong, and any idiot with a basic grasp of the English language should be able to realise that. Apparently the idiocy has come full circle, and we're now using "'ve" to replace "of". I'm going to pour myself a stiff drink.

It also looks more formal than "kinda", which is the other way to write it more like we actually say it. I think it's a fun addition to the language.
You would never use abbreviations like 'would've' instead of 'would have' in formal text, though. Not to mention 'kind of' is the exact same number of characters as 'kind've', so you're not saving anything by doing it.

It doesn't necessarily save any characters, but it makes the written language more closely match the current verbal language. "Ove" would be a more accurate way to spell "of", so "kind ove" could be acceptably abbreviated to "kind've". It also matches how the phrase is pronounced as one word. Am I saying it's right? No. All I'm saying is, let's make it right. Language evolves. The meaning is perfectly clear, it makes sense, why not do it?

sorry

I don't really like it personally, if it follows in the steps of other language features then it's an abbreviated form of 'kind have', which is a phrase that doesn't make any sense! [editline]7th October 2015[/editline] Oh, the way you slipped a 'kind've' into your reply did give me a laugh, though. :v:

Is that a toll station or just a border station?
Holy shit that bottleneck. Who thought that was a good idea to have that close to the station.
Oh dear god what is even happening there, does that road even have lanes
