They chase after Immigrants/Swedes on bears and mercilessly hunt them down
they just wanted to show the canadians that seal clubbing is for pussies
And for Russians too.
The Irish one is the flag of the Blue Shirts, who were a fascist wing of the same political party that's in power here today.
So a fascist wing of Fine Gael?
So a fascist wing of Fine Gael?
Yeah, that's why a lot of people call Fine Gael "Blue Shirts" as a pejorative term. Old school Fianna Fáil supporters especially as it goes way back to the Civil War. My Grandmother still holds a grudge against Fianna Gael while my other Grandmother and late Grand Father hated Fianna Fáil.
The ironic thing for anybody just looking in at Irish politics is that both parties today are more or less the same, they just hate each other.

Is that NSF for Sweden or SVP? Either I always find it a bit funny that extremist parties (regardless of side) have some very unique designs for their logos.

It looks like a bunch of twelve-year-olds designing a 'cool Nazi flag' competition.

the lithuanian dudes have the coolest one IMO
it's almost straight up swastika-nazi but not quite

The bars are supposed to represent prison bars, along the lines of Martyrdom.
They also had a version with a white cross behind the bars, used to represent, ironically, ''humanitarian values''

Yeah he sadly does that. The best way for me to get the picture is to use developer tools on Chrome, from there I select network & refresh the page. Then I can get the link of a picture like this one:

Various clips of WWI military train and rail construction footage:
During World War One the allies needed to construct railways throughout France to help move men and supplies. The quickest method available was to construct a network of two foot (60cm) narrow gauge lines.
First we see archive footage of Army personel laying the sleepers and track, ballasting work, loading and laying of pre-built trackwork. Next we take a ride on the train and see scenes of the railway in action as the little trains trundle along country lanes and through the town streets. The film ends with scenes of the train taking soldiers towards the front lines.
After the war the lines were abandoned and most of the locomotives and rollingstock simply left where they were last used. .
I have an extension called image downloader, highly recommended. It works 90% of the time, and inspect element takes cares of the rest.

Yeah by the way, House on the Rock is about 2h away from me
Never been there

Is that a godzilla whale?
Is that a godzilla whale?
That'd be redundant.
Godzilla in Japanese is ゴジラ, or "Gojira" phonetically. It is a combination of クジラ, "Kujira" (Whale) andゴリラ "Gorira" (Gorilla).
Size/body of a whale, strength/ferocity like a gorilla. Quite literally, Gorilla Whale.
he's way bigger than a whale though
he's way bigger than a whale though
yeah and he's also way stronger and more ferocious than a gorilla, what gives?
Is that a godzilla whale?
It's a 200 ft (61 m) model of a whale fighting an octopus (and losing, it seems). Here it is from a different angle:

The exhibits in each room/area generally follow a theme. That room is filled with maritime exhibits.
Been to the House on the Rock twice now and it has blown me away both times. Seriously, there is SO MUCH SHIT on that plot of land. Not all of it is cool, and not all of it is real, but I'll be damned if it isn't an impressive amalgamation of interesting things.

Oh, man, House on the Rock is only like 3 hours away. I really want to go see it now.
