[release] Current Age 20 Gender Male Current Status (single married etc) Relationship Occupation (if any) Self employed (IT Techy) When did your parents divorce and why? About 12+ years ago I think now. My "father" went off with another woman etc... Prick. How did you feel when your parents divorced? Happy as he wasn't a nice person. Very violent and shouts alot. Would never even let my friends play inside (even if it was raining badly). It started off hard but now I love the fact it happened. He really was a prick. How was your family and life after the divorce? Alot more relaxed. Sucked that I had to move house/couldn't pay the big one we had. At first it was upsetting I guess but can't remember much about it. With whom did you live with? Mother What do you think about the growing divorce rate affecting society? Usually it's for the best I'm guessing. Not thought about it affecting society What is your opinion on divorce? (Do you agree with it, against it). Do it. Better off without the other if you're at the point where you're unhappy. It'll screw everything up if you stick together. [/release] Bonus - Last email I sent to my "father" (This was an email he sent to my mother. He wasn't even gonna do it on the phone/let me know in person. Fortunately I was at my mothers work to read the email so she let me reply ;) [release] Hi, Dad! I happen to be here at my mothers work to see this :) Just thought I'd let you know that I really don't care now. You stopped being a father to me a long time ago so nothing really lost. You're finally out of my life forever which is just absolutely great. I am somewhat disappointed though as in the last email to Mum you said you wouldn't be contacting us again which you appear to have failed to do (just another to the list). :( Don't worry I still love Grandma Shirley and Grandad Geoff and will probably treat them better and see them more than you do anyway. Have fun with that. Don't call, don't write, don't visit, don't send any form of communication to me or my mother ever again (please?). If I could remove every part of me that relates to you I would. Farewell Steven, failure of a "Father", waste of space... oh the list goes on. Your (ex)Son Chris. [/release]
:ninja: Ah loving divorced mothers. always telling their kids the full truth.

Occupation Dad: Weekend Clerk at Beer Store / Night Foreman at Factory Mom: Laundry (i think) at Nursing Home Me: Nothing (may be getting job at Beer Store this summer) When did your parents divorce and why? Forget and Dunno How did you feel when your parents divorced? Confused and kinda Sad How was your family and life after the divorce? I often wondered where the other parent was, and missed my mom or dad, depending on who I was living with at the time. I'd spend long periods of time with one or the other. With whom did you live with? I can't remember it too well. This is what I remember, though it may not be in correct order: -Lived with mom in a White Trailer. -Lived with mom in an Apartment Building. -Lived with dad in a White House. -Lived with dad in a Red House. -Visited Grandma alot later on (may or may not have been around the same time as the Red House) -Now share a week with each, spent nights at dads (only because my computer is here). What do you think about the growing divorce rate affecting society? Stupid young people thinking "Oh lets get married ASAP" and not giving it another thought. Not my problem. What is your opinion on divorce? It's a mess and it sucks. They should've thought marriage through better.
Hey thanks for the somewhat constructive posts! I need 2 - 3 more. Can I has them? O:
Current Age: 24 Gender: Male Current Status : Recently called off engagement. Occupation: Carpenter When did your parents divorce and why? When I was 16, my mother cheated on my father because he worked 60 hours a week and spent about 5% of his time with the family. How did you feel when your parents divorced? Confused, guilty, angry, upset. How was your family and life after the divorce? Family split apart, mother moved to England from Canada, I haven't talked to my father since. Mother and myself have become very close since she moved back to Canada. With whom did you live with? Myself. What do you think about the growing divorce rate affecting society? It is quiet sad really... sick of your wife? Get a new one... that is our way of life now. What is your opinion on divorce? Well, as I just came out of a failed engagement, I would say for it... but there are very few cases where it is actually a needed thing. Mostly divorces are just for people who are too lazy to fix things.
Isn't this schoolpunch?
My parents are divorced, yes. Mainly because my mother is a leeching whore who fucked over my Dad in many, many ways. She basically eviscerated him and tried to kidnap my sister and I, probably tried to hide us in the Caribbean. After finding out the many secrets and my mothers nefarious adventures, I was torn to pieces. With these thoughts my insomnia/sleep deprivation has worsened. My sanity is questionable, but I try to scrape by.
Current Age Sixteen Gender Male Current Status (single married etc) My parents are single. My Father is dating someone. Occupation (if any) Dad works in the City When did your parents divorce and why? Back in 2007, my father found out that my Mother secretly divorced him in 2005 when we went down to the caribbean. He divorced he the legal way in 2007. The day after he showed me the divorce papers, I was told of the many secrets withheld from me since I was less than a year old. I had to "grow up fast" because of this. Thoughts of suicide plagued my every thought for some time, but I'm over that. My sanity is questionable, yes, but I manage to scrape by. How did you feel when your parents divorced? Horrible. How was your family and life after the divorce? My family has fallen apart. We don't even eat dinner together anymore. My Fathers side of the family thought nothing of it, since they hated my mother. My Mothers side of the family hated her for divorcing my father, because most of her family loved him. With whom did you live with? My Father, for the better What do you think about the growing divorce rate affecting society? It saddens me that children must go through the worst of it. My Fathers parents got divorced when he was young, the same with my Mother. I fear history will repeat itself and I may hurt the one I love. What is your opinion on divorce? (Do you agree with it, against it). Divorce is questionable. Most of the time it's horrible and harms everyone it's connected to. Sometimes (In my case), it's for the better. But even then it will have immense repercussions.
Age: 18 Gender: Male Status: Married Occupation: Dad - Chiropractor, Mom - Secretary at Dad's Office Divorce Rate: Totally fucked up. Opinion of Divorce: Is stupid. The whole thing is they liked each other enough to get married (Unless it was all a money scam) then how hard is it to stay married? The problem is a lot of people marry rather quickly and quickly get tired of their spouse and think they can just get divorced. What they don't realize is that if they spawned a child, then you're fucking up your kid's life. Divorce is for selfish assholes or people married to them.
