I used to listen to Mindless Self Indulgence when they were just starting, though it was my sister that introduced it to my younger self.
Nowadays they've gone a looong way but I lost interest years ago.
I drank my coffee before it was cool. Burned my tongue.
I played TF2 before it was full of Bronies, F2Players, and people saying HATS HATS HATS HATS HATS.
OIFY was hidden for a reason. Also, it's probably a good thing that i'm the only one left to remember the atrocities committed by Roxas2007
I remember when the furry forum existed.
Oh god the Furry Forum and Anti Furry Forum, oh the laughs, until I realised some people took that shit seriously.
I want custom forums back though, they were great
I remember Facepunch and PHB (a now dead site) used to have a healthy GMod Comic community
I'll never forget you, Male_07 :'(
[del]Instabans applying to legitimate posts, join date elitism, and being able to browse OIFY when all you needed was the subforum URL.
Also Hoffpunch and the endless doug alts.[/del]
wait shit stuff i did
I bought into the Minecraft alpha back when everyone expected it to be something.
When I was a kid I watched Digimon season 2 on some German channel before season 1 even aired in Norway :v:
Didn't understand shit though but I thought it looked cool
Back when postal used to post pictures of the freaky ass bugs he found in his swamp-ass backyard
[editline]18th December 2013[/editline]
now he just bans people for talking about his swamp-ass backyard =[
I played Minecraft in 2009 before it had over 2000 players.
I bought the game when only 1300ish copies had been sold. I only bought it because I wanted a skin in multiplayer. infdev didn't exist yet :v:
something about browsing fp for a long time
something about browsing fp for a long time
wow almost 9 fucking years holy shit
I like and use Pokemon before the competitive scene finds out they're amazingly good for that specific tier, even if Pokemon is not visually appealing (to most).
Then I feel like a jerk for using them because fuck having good Pokemon; I like ones that are worse by comparison so it makes winning all the more satisfying.
Smartness was the shit and weeded out a lot of the potential bad posters that we have to deal with today.
let's just rename the thread right now to "The Bring Back Smartness Thread" because it was a system that actually worked aside from the few false positives it gave
e: ironically i probably would have lost about 200 smartness points for punctuation and capitalisation mistakes on this post alone
Xbox Original on Release Day.
CSS on Release Day.
Steam on Release Day.
Stayed up all night waiting to get Half life 2.
Bought Condition Zero when it first came out.
Preloaded TF2 before it was released.
Owned a Sega Dreamcast.
Xbox 360 on release day.
Played Minecraft before it had multiplayer, and when you pressed 'h' a human appeared.
How many hipster points is this?

Smartness got me out of so many bad typing/spelling habits it's unbelievable.
I played Rust back when it was just a small group of Facepunchers on a hidden subforum.
It was fun before they came.
I do not consider many things I do to be hipsters since I always almost have friends link it.
b
Only a few things that, but most of those things are not that well known.
For example, I used to play a little gem called Mud and Blood 2 but I've almost never seen many people know it at least in the communties where I hang around in.
Perhaps as the above user said, Rust was fun when it was just like facepunchers...Just to chill out.
But I can't remember many things that I did 'before it was cool', probably because I played on console for like 4 years, not used PC alot so I've only been on the PC for like 3 years.
I used to browse youtube before it sucked.
I have a 3 digit Facepunch user ID
I saw Notch's blog when there was only like 2 posts about Minecraft.
Blockland ID in 3000s somewhere, unfortunately I got banned (key revoked). Whoops.
Smartness
Played Runescape in like 2005
I used Steam before it was cool (the one I have now is my 3rd or 4th account)
How did you lose your earlier accounts? Vac banned?
I still have my same ol' account from 2004.
i fucked your mum before everyone else got around to it
Been here since 2004... Facepunch was cool back then but fuck me, I wasn't!
