Planetes. Do it.
Heard about it. Sure, why not. Or I could watch Madoka Magica.
Watched ep 1 of BRS. Not sure if want to continue But it's only 8 eps so even if it sucks dick (it most likely will) it will be over soon.
Do it just for the fight sequences. They are mindblowingly violent. Like, insanely. Especially once shit hits the fan eventually.
A series of Battle Royale OVAs would be pretty legit. Didn't really like first movie at all. Definitely don't appreciate how they fucked up Sugimura's character.
I'm debating on watching Guilty Crown. From what I've heard it's pretty bad but one of my really asshole reclusive super weeaboo friends who usually rates shit really low gave it a 10. That really gets me wondering.
I'm already forgetting about it and I haven't even finished it yet. It's basically a whole bunch of elements seen before but without doing anything to make it stand out. It's like 2 beautiful people had a child that inherited all the mediocre features but none of the ones that made the parents stunning. [editline]23rd March 2012[/editline] The child's also a little bit wrong in the head.
So I stayed up untill 2 to read manga and see if the new DxD episode was released. Yet I'm still not done with the manga, and DxD is only released raw. 4 hours of sleep, gg no re wp.
Guys, I want to ask you something. Sometimes people ask me if I'm watching anything from 'the current season' and I often don't. I'm usually scared of wasting my time on something that turns out really bad or has a bad ending, so I prefer seeing people's opinions on a finished anime and actually watching something good in the meanwhile. So, what are the pros of watching an airing anime? Should I try to do it more often, or keep watching finished series only?
Mirai Nikki spoilers? http://i.imgur.com/BAEuj.png [sp]I was looking through some related OPS and EDs when I saw this as the thumbnail... What is this character like in the show? Batshit insane? Minor, major? Anything you can tell me without spoilers would be great.[/sp]

I suppose the week long wait builds up more anticipation and excitement (if you're watching a decent anime). Watch a mixture of both and get a little bit of everything. You certainly don't want to fall behind with whatever is going on or trending in this thread. Just have shows on the side you can watch on the downtime when you're waiting for new episodes of anime to air. I try watching whatever shows are new, even if some of them do not normally follow suit in what my tastes are. Great way to broaden your anime palate.
Okay, I'll try that then. Thanks. [editline]23rd March 2012[/editline] By the way, anything good to watch from this season?

Oh, and Guilty Crown just aired its last episode as well, but fuck that shit, don't bother wasting time with it. Check out MAL and ANN or just scour through this thread.

it isn't spoilers
I like to think, "If it's in the OP, it's not a spoiler".
I like to think, "If it's in the OP, it's not a spoiler".
Depends, they can put spoilers there that is only understandable to those who have read the adapted material. Spirit Breakers first spoiler post is a spoiler, the other posts aren't.

It is highly recommendable to pick up airing shows for that reason, you can watch several shows without feeling like you're spending much time, and then after 3 months you've finished 1-to-however-many-shows-that-you-chose-to-watch without really feeling like you did that since it took 3 months, which is pretty nice. That way you also don't have to go back and watch 5-7 good shows that aired that one season and spend an eternity getting through those, because, hey, you watched all of those one episode a week whilst still watching some other finished show like normal.

The pleasure lays within watching the shows, not finishing watching themselves and feeling proud you spent time with something.
feeling proud you spent time with something (anime).
the fuck
i love to spend time with my anime
I just want to say that Nisemonogatari is terribly lame.
Don't have much anime to watch anymore left on my pc. Can someone suggest me some to watch?
Don't have much anime to watch anymore left on my pc. Can someone suggest me some to watch?
TSF Monogatari
You're talking like the pleasure lays in having accomplished finishing the shows. The pleasure lays within watching the shows, not finishing watching themselves and feeling proud you spent time with something.
That's not what I'm trying to say. Unlike me you guys don't have a policy to finish a show, so you just drop whatever you dislike, so it is a good way to discover good shows and watch them as they go and in the end have watched a handful of good shows over the span of 3 months whilst still watching completed shows like you normally would. When there is 20-50 shows released each season the amount of shows you watch and the amount of shows that are released are not scaled in a linear algorythm. The amount of shows you would enjoy watching easily goes over the amount of shows you're able to watch within the span of a season, meaning you will miss out on a lot of good shows because you decided to not watch them as they aired.
