this is the boner of my sword
Since I played Katawa Shoujo, I guess I've found anime to be better than my first impressions of it. Now I've watched Gurren Lagann, and I've just re-watched first 30 episodes of One Piece. God, I loved that show on Toonami.

I never really noticed those distortions of anatomy unless they've been screenshoted and it never distracted me. I mean, those kind of things were more distracting in Higurashi (first season) and Madoka Magica but I still love those shows to pieces.

To me they were clear as a day, that's why it made me rage.
It was so fucking in your face on just how fucking bad they were at drawing.
Nazo no Kanojo X had a decent first episode, even if the whole drool thing is obviously the creator's fetish.

that's some third eye shit right there
Upotte! episode 1.
I don't know what the fuck to say, but I found all the perverted jokes to be excellent since they are now refering to parts of a gun and everything they say are related to how a gun works.
So the first episode was funny at least, but it's only great because the new way of doing the same old humor is new. It can easily use up it's freshness and just end up in your standard palm to the face, a big sigh and often a lot of "why am I even watching this?".
Yeah, the gun humor was actually pretty clever.
Hammer Space is also used effectively here. I love Hammer Space.
I never knew TVtropes had a season airing list for anime.

The first episode wasn't really my cup of tea, but apparently the girls [sp]start shooting each other* later on in the manga. But since they're guns they won't die![/sp]
