That's what happens when too much anime
I (kind of) want to get into Cutie Honey because of the newer animation style, but I'm having a confusing time finding it. Are there two different series? Not the old one (really don't like the oldoldold style of animation).

lovecraft must be generating space rifts from his turning inside his grave right now [editline]9th April 2012[/editline] in fact he's probably doing that to summon the elder gods
Considering there's no Japanese Culture thread, so I guess I'll ask the question here. Has anyone here ever seen or been to a Kabuki theatre production? If so, are all roles played by men, or are there women in kabuki?
not in a traditional kabuki production (according to this)

Imagine if there was one in General Discussion. Gosh, the amount of trolling would be off the charts.
Upotte! episode 1. I don't know what the fuck to say, but I found all the perverted jokes to be excellent since they are now refering to parts of a gun and everything they say are related to how a gun works. So the first episode was funny at least, but it's only great because the new way of doing the same old humor is new. It can easily use up it's freshness and just end up in your standard palm to the face, a big sigh and often a lot of "why am I even watching this?".
don't lie dgg you're in it for the tits and asses
I remember that one thread where someone got into bathing in japanese culture and the amount of shit people came out with was hilarious (i.e. "it's perfectly normal to bathe with your family and siblings PAST THE AGE OF 20)
Imagine if there was one in General Discussion. Gosh, the amount of trolling would be off the charts.
The only thing that is more flame bait here than a US chat thread.
don't lie dgg you're in it for the tits and asses
I'm in it for the concept of girls being guns. And as long as fan service is used as a comedic tool and not arousal of the watchers then I don't mind it.
