Ok I am wierd. I just not one of those guys who likes moe stuff. I don't see what is so great about it. Please explain:v:
Well it's pretty simple really. Either you like cute girls doing cute things. or You don't like cute girls doing cute things. Then there are those that like cute girls doing girl things or cute girls doing girls which easily watch cute girls doing cute things while fantazising about them doing one or both of the previous two things.
Then there are those that like cute girls doing girl things or cute girls doing girls which easily watch cute girls doing cute things while fantazising about them doing one or both of the previous two things.
You just blew my mind sir.
You just blew my mind sir.
Happy to. Also don't get me wrong. This moè boom is totally annoying because there is a lot of shit moè shows being made every season trying to cash in. And usually the worse they are the more popular they seem to be. Especially if they bring in extreme amounts of fanservice and shit to the table.

I am the kind of guy who likes to listen to the OP themes of anime. If its a little girl singing, I tend to just turn off the show. Bakemonogotari(?) was an exception. I like this kind of stuff Reason why I show that is because again, That's the stuff I grew up watching. It really hit my feelings as a child when watching stuff like this with a song like this^ [editline]22nd April 2012[/editline] I don't knock on other peoples tastes. In every genre of anime there is always a good one in the genre.
f/z ep 16 was great
http://www1.axfc.net/uploader/B/so/104094.zip House Set of Ten Desires is out. A bit more dubstep in this one.

I pretty much despise old anime shows for their ridiculous overly-macho fuckshit like Dragonballz, Berserker and Fist of the North Star. But yeah, each to his own. Not to mention the big craze around mecha shows like Gundam and Macross and magical girl shows like Sailor Moon.

I do like the macho shit because again I grew up with it. Berserk was good to me. DBZ was not.

You just did that for me, thank you.

[editline]22nd April 2012[/editline]
He does have a point.
Although their are some good ones that eliminate this factor. GTO and Golden boy are 2.
stuff
Optic Camouflage huh? Hope that's not your only trick.
Although their are some good ones that eliminate this factor. GTO and Golden boy are 2.
Well they are pretty different from shows like Gundam and Fist of the North Star aswell. Even though GTO is very much a brutal beast, but it's not really the focal point, it just makes events possible, gives him a motive and makes him more funny, the focus is rather human problems. He's not powerful to beat up people to defeat them for purposes, he's powerful to beat up people to fix other peoples problems.

I take it you enjoyed GTO?
Yea, I couldn't have worded it better. I take it you enjoyed GTO?
Of course. A strong 9/10. The two first episodes are terrible and made me drop the show before I started watching anime which was before I had a policy to not drop shows if I start them. Then I picked it up again 2 years later (2009) and I still wanted to drop it because of the 2 first episodes, but after that it just became fucking great.

Although they were all in all terrible. Once he got to the private school. It was all up hill from there.
Finally finished yu yu hakusho for the first time. I'd give it a 8/10 as far as fighting anime goes, and 6/10 overall. And the OP is still pretty great in my opinion. I'm surprised how similar they managed to make the engilsh version to the japanese one. Normally they'd either just keep the japanese lyrics or choose an entirely different song for modern anime. haha look at that jpeg compression on the english version
I just realized there was a castlevania reference in at tohou thing. You sir made my day.
probably bc berserk is completely different from dragon ball
Also, I don't really like shounen animes.
Also, I don't really like shounen animes.
Berserk (speaking specifically about the anime) has quite a cohesive story and is very much about the characters and their relationships. It just happens to also have a bad case of giant sword syndrome. Speaking of the manga, essentially the same thing, though as you get onward a bit... well, they don't call it the Golden Age arc for nothing. People often argue that after that is where it actually gets good, and yeah, the [sp]berserker armor and dragon slayer blade or whatever they're called[/sp] are ridiculously badass. I enjoyed the Golden Age arc much more than any other part, though, as it explores why Gatts is such a huge badass angry motherfucker. And why he screams a lot. I'm looking forward to getting to see the new adaptation of it to see where it differs from the manga and old adaptation ([sp]maybe the skull knight will actually exist? I mean his omittance from the old anime pretty much destroys it, given that without him Gatts & Casca wouldn't have escaped the eclipse and all that jazz[/sp] <-- this is a legitimately huge spoiler fyi) But hey! That's ~just my opinion man~ you're entitled to disagree on any point. But regardless I do recommend that you watch Berserk and/or read the manga (if that's your thing). I wouldn't call it shounen at all.
Berserk is great, it's also a great companion manga and anime when playing Dark Souls~

They need to finish the damn manga before they do a movie ( yes are trying to do a live action). Are they doing a new adaption? I am not sure.
Fuck yes, I'm been waiting forever for the UN-GO OST to come out. Mostly this song in particular though, chills down my spine every time.

You all should watch Hikounin Sentai Akibaranger. It's absolutely hilarious despite being live-action show. It's currently airing.
