I watch anime for fun.
What, do people watch it as a job or something?

That makes 0 sense, someone wouldn't want to get closer if they didn't enjoy it.
-
anime isn't 'japans culture'.
Japanese people DO NOT like foreigners. Though I don't think that's the cultural norm for tourists, they tend to treat those people slightly "better" since they know they're not permanent visitors. If you're planning to stay for an extended time, they expect you to FOLLOW THE MAINSTREAM, DO NOT STICK OUT, ASSUME CONFORMITY. If you do, they'll maybe start treating you almost the same as everyone else.
What you say is correct. However, Japanese don't hate foreigners in general. There are plenty of japanese that will say a foreigner is cool/ cute the instant they spot one (find some highschool exchange videos on youtube and you'll see this is true). There's also plenty of pro American people there. The problem japanese people have with foreigners is the same we have with foreigners. They trash their hotel rooms, fail to pay bills, steal their jobs and are rude/ loud in general. They don't like mixed bloodlines, but there's plenty of japanese people fancying to get a white person to marry. All in all it's just another western country. Biggest difference being that white people are being discriminated against. More cultural differences can be found on The Japan Channel http://www.youtube.com/user/thejapanchanneldcom?feature=results_main Pretty fantastic source for everything japan. He does generalize, but will also mention that this is the way he experiences it. Edit: Orkel has a good point. Old people might still have a bad feeling about foreigners. Double edit: I like their conformity to a certain extend.
Bryce still being dumb I see
nothing unusual
Also, the further away from cities you go, the more racism you'll encounter. The people in cities like Tokyo are generally much more approving than those in rural areas.

the japanese can be racist, but the thing is The same goes for any country.
Darth Veger is gonna stream GnT's Airport batsu game (2012) soon. Starting in 20 minutes or so http://theatre.worldofvagax.com/ Hop in if you haven't seen it yet

Ugh, can't remember what it was called. It's a nice watch, though. It's from 2005 I think and 42 minutes long. Woo, found it. New Acchi Kocchi, wow. Favorite episode so far, and I LOVED the kick the can episode. [sp] Homing missile fireworks, Mayoi getting hurt in every which way. Getting caught by the fishing pole and then reeled back in was good, but her pregnant joke and Hime was awesome.[/sp] Io has more swag then Yuu from persona 4.

Gundam AGE is gonna feature space pirates that are actual pirates and not like the "pirates" in Mouretsu Pirates and it's not even about pirates!
bitch take that back
Neverrr
I want this so badly, and apparently there is a schematic on how to build it yourself, but it's all in Japanese. Nixie tubes in general are extremely sexy.
Neverrr
ignorance is bliss i guess

One of my friends is making a clock out of Nixie tubes
I was really expecting it to explode with the physical destruction, and then it just puffs a tiny bit of smoke. Is loli even illegal in the US?
it is in sweden, though the supreme court may change that soon
“The ban is there to protect children in general, whether it is real children depicted or not,” she said in court. ... “And even a drawing could be of a real child. A photo depicting a real child could have been used to make the drawing. It is hard from the outside to know whether there is an original photo or not,” she said in closing.
