I thought code geass was a bit overrated to be quite honest. I'd give it an 8.2/10 MAX
lol no 15/10
Finished Maria†Holic, 8/10. I liked it, the comedy was well crafted and real good overall.
I enjoyed watching Maria Holic, but I felt there needed to be a lot more Mariya and a whole lot less annoying as fuck Hanako nosebleeds.
I disagree, it lacked sufficient Father Kanae.
Just watched Madoka. It was great. Doesn't live up to its praise as "revolutionary" anime though. It wasn't even the best anime of 2012.
But it sure was the best of 2011
Finished Cowboy Bebop. I enjoyed the series as a whole but I felt that they didn't develop the story [sp]behind Spike's past[/sp] well enough. The ending was satisfactory but [sp]sad :(, Ed left, Faye kinda stopped being an asshole but Spike died, I guess this is how a character like him should end his life but it was still sad nonetheless[/sp] Personally I would of accepted a [sp]"and they continued their adventures until the end of time" type of ending as the series was mostly short stories anyway[/sp]
gintama sure does have its touching moments.
[sp]but Spike died, I guess this is how a character like him should end his life but it was still sad nonetheless[/sp]
the point of the ending is that we actually don't know if that's the case
the point of the ending is that we actually don't know if that's the case
[sp]I thought most people acknowledged that he died? Besides, he just got gutted with a sword, he collapses after the fight and he kinda signs off by saying "bang"[/sp]

Man, this sure does add to the feel in gintama

You people are all philistines when it comes to Bebop music. [editline]22nd June 2012[/editline]

Cowboy beep-boop
gintama sure does have its touching moments.
Well yeah, Gintama is my favorite series. I love the characters and how silly it is at times, but when it has an actual serious arc I find some of them being better than actual series that focus on drama and such.
Just finished Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex as well. [sp]I was surprised they went for a "and everything returned to normal" ending, except for the Tachikoma, rip[/sp] It was pretty good, the scenes that contributed to the main Laughing Man plot were the best, the unrelated police serials were decent but nothing memorable. The main gripes I had were that some of the technology or scenery seemed too old to be in a futuristic world where it's possible to create advanced AI and full body prosthetics. The animation quality derped a lot of the time too. Oh and I still think Motoko needs to put on some fucking pants.
I just drew these, what do you guys think? [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/9qZJA.png[/thumb] [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/MiHAG.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/PnMta.jpg[/thumb]
"Drew" or traced?
I really love heart warming stuff, like clannad or usagi drop, any reccs?
"Drew" or traced?
I just used my eye with two monitors, switching over. You don't have to believe me :v: I guess that still counts as cheating...
I just used my eye with two monitors, switching over. You don't have to believe me :v: I guess that still counts as cheating...
that still counts as tracing. Also in Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, episode "Remote Island Syndrome Part 2", for everyone else was it painfully obvious from the very first moment that the [sp]whole thing was staged in order to keep haruhi from being bored[/sp]? I sat there thinking throughout the entire episode [sp]"the master of the mansion is obviously faking. and the butler is in on it. why would the butler immediately stop haruhi from taking the pulse and do it himself unless he was trying to cover it up? Moving his wrist wouldn't do anything lasting, and she had already moved his hand before the butler stopped her"[/sp].
I just used my eye with two monitors, switching over. You don't have to believe me :v: I guess that still counts as cheating...
Just as long as you don't pull a Bryceanater on us it's all good
WHAT!? Really though, anybody I know who has watched dot hack has either played the original four or the three gu games.
.hack//G.U 1 and 2 completed. Third is p difficult.
Suddenly. Koe de Oshigoto is labeled as completed instead of airing. All in all it only spanned two OVA's.
But it sure was the best of 2011
No. It wasn't.
YEES! Katte ni Kaizou episode 6 has finally been subbed. They got around to releasing it last week apparently. The 11th.
I thought code geass was a bit overrated to be quite honest. I'd give it an 8.2/10 MAX
That's .2 higher than I gave it Maybe I was a bit harsh 8.2 sounds about right
Finished Steins;Gate last night, not watched the special yet. Apart from [sp]the first two times Mayuri died[/sp], it didn't have much of an effect on me emotionally, I don't really agree with the way time worked in it sometimes (though I'm clearing some of it up as think about it), and [sp]inevitability in time travelling shows is something I've seen so many times already that it wasn't really something that grabbed my attention[/sp]. I seem to be speaking pretty badly of it, but it was still good. I really enjoyed watching it and I wasn't ever bored. Some things are just leaving me a little sour, probably just because it wasn't as good as I'd hoped, from how highly people I know had spoken about it to me. Impression might improve the more I think it over, but for now it was just an enjoyable show. Maybe there's some major thing I am just totally missing though. Aside from that, got a friend to watch Eureka Seven, since he's watching Eureka Seven AO (not so good thus far, though about to watch episode 10, might turn around?). He thought it was too "lovey dovey". Which I guess would be fair if not for his favourite show recently and since it aired has been Ano Natsu de Matteru. What kind of logic.
Holy shit, Katte ni Kaizou ep 6 was actually a really great episode and a great ending to the OVA. The extra scene was fucking hilarious and the jokes were on line with what you would expect in Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. It was an exceptional episode. But overall the 5 other OVA's were by far not as great and delivered a good joke or two and otherwise left you with nothing more. It was good but nothing noteworthy. 7/10
Well since we're sorta posting anime music here's some Trigun. and I'm still having trouble remembering how to get it into video form. This is embaressing.
