The animes are really bad IMO, but the VNs are pretty good. so play them for a better experience
yeah I figured, but I was taking a look at the cost of a VN. Its a bit pricey- I've seen some for like.. 40 dollars.
that feeling when you watch an anime and recognize the voice of one of the characters from another anime. Specifically in Hyouka (Toyosaki Aki, aka the voice of Yui from K-ON) and Acchi Kocchi (Konno Hiromi, aka the voice of the professor from Nichijou)
there's a seiyuu joke in nichijou, sakamoto is voiced by minoru shiraishi who voiced himself in lucky star as well as konno hiromi voicing hakase & the announcer i forgot the name of who always made fun of him in LS anyway the crow (who replaces sakamoto) is voiced by the same guy who replaced shiraishi during that one ep (when he has the breakdown)
arizona in 1 month mother fucker, 3rd year in a row WHERE IS THE SEX?
but but it's RED out there, and hot though at lest it's not humid hot like in Pennsylvania, cause it sucks
that feeling when you watch an anime and recognize the voice of one of the characters from another anime.
For me, Polar Bear from Polar Bear's Café. Was really surprised when I recognised the voice of the Medicine Seller from Mononoke. I just can't help imagining Polar Bear doing all the deducing and slaying of mononoke whenever I rewatch parts of that show.

Oreki Houtaro is voiced by Yuuichi Nakamura. He also voices Tomoya Okazaki from Clannad. Satoshi Fukube (Oreki's friend) is voiced by Daisuke Sakaguchi. He also voices Youhei Sunohara (Tomoya's friend) from Clannad. There's a few popular voice actors with roles in this show, even just as side characters.
just finished sakamichi no appollon but i want more
Watching Paranoia Agent, almost finished. Always thought Maromi was a little sinister, but these final episodes have really sealed it. [editline]29th June 2012[/editline] OK the ending was pretty damn good. Once you get used to the series' bizarre structure (it completely drops the main plot about halfway through only to pick it up again later) it's a great psychological anime with a really substantial creepy vibe to it, at least until the really outlandish stuff starts happening. My main gripe would probably be the pacing, as while initially it was slow but steady and had just enough exposition to keep you interested in the last bunch of episodes felt sort of rushed in comparison which is why I think I'd probably give it a 8/10 Moving onto one of the series of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei I haven't seen yet, or Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex [editline]29th June 2012[/editline] Do I need to have seen both Ghost in the Shell movies before I watch Standalone Complex? I've only seen the first one.
Watching SAC without seeing Innocence is fine. You're about to watch two of my favorite shows so I can't really recommend one over the other.
Watching SAC without seeing Innocence is fine. You're about to watch two of my favorite shows so I can't really recommend one over the other.
I'm actually four episodes into Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, I just had to put it on hiatus after my Harddrive crapped out on me. I'm enjoying it, although I thought Season 1 was better overall. I preferred the stucture of the earliest episodes to the ones at the moment, which are even sillier than normal. I also finished re-watching Steins;Gate with my roommate, who hadn't seen it before. Holy hell does the first episode make a lot more sense when you know the ending.
Bought pre-owned copy of Tales of Vesperia. Gamestop guy tells me it was traded in still wrapped in shrink-wrap, flawless brand new copy. Paid 35 bucks instead of 40-60. AW YEAH! And Acchi Kocchi is done. Good laughs this final ep, gonna miss it. Good slice of life, I'd say its like Azumanga Daioh and Nichijou in a way. And am I the only one watching Gon? I like it, top quality CG compared to the shit we get in America.
I GAVE HANAKO THE CHOCOLATE WHY. [editline]29th June 2012[/editline] why blood WHY
Watching the first episode of Moyashimon. Some old guy just dug up a buried seal, opened it up, pulled out one of the many dead seagulls out from inside it, and then drunk it's intestinal fluids by sucking it through their bowels. I honestly have no words for this. [editline]30th June 2012[/editline] I have been tricked by this cute OP. I don't know what I've gotten myself into. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/ZsY6e.jpg[/img_thumb] Maoyuu Maou Yuusha, the series where a hero and a demon warlord join forces to better the lives of the people through economics, is getting an anime adaptation. If you liked Spice & Wolf, this series will probably be right up your alley.
