Techno: TUN CHIKA TUN DUN TUN CHIKA TUN DUN TUN CHIKA
Trance: DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN
I like both, but I tend to listen to more trance than anything that would fall under techno though.
Hardtrance :smug:
Both
axaxaxaxa Sabrina got banned... :P
Trance is a subcategory of Techno. It's like saying which do you prefer: Vegetables or Celery?
Both.
+ House
Trancexual
Techno
I can't tell the difference between both. Except maybe that Trance songs are usually longer.
I like techno more, mostly because it's not as intense as trance
you're living in the past then
techno is much harder hitting that trance these days
oh and there is more EDM genres than just trance and techno...
Techno is far too wide a term to compare it to Trance. Trance, even though it has variations, is a set genre, where as Techno can range from Detroit House to modern Dub-step.
you mean detroit techno
no such thing as detroit house unless you mean chicago house

no it is not, at least not anymore. trance has gained it's own genre because is has fully moved away from the early 90's techno sounds it spawned from.
Hardtrance :smug:

And Trance has a clear melody. Techno is just BEATS BEATS MOAR BEATS!!!!!!!111
I like trance as long as there's no singing. That kinda ruins many songs for me =(
depends on what techno genre you are talking about
hard techno and schranz you could be right but for detriot techno (the orignal techno) was actually more melodicaly driven

Uh, no. It's still a category of the wider genre of Dance, which itself is divided in Techno and Electronica, which are then subdivided in House, Trance, Dubstep, Hardcore, etc etc etc. Just because it's diverged doesn't mean that it's not a subcategory. Techno is a wide form of music. Trance is a form of techno. Saying it's not is like saying a motorcycle isn't a motor vehicle just because it doesn't have four wheels like most other motor vehicles. Just because it has slight differences doesn't excuse the fact that it still contains the basics and essentials of techno music, and sounds remarkably similar.
It's not its own genre. It's its own category.
