It bothers me when someone looks at CG in a movie that is a few years old, such as Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, and just say, "Were those animations purposely made to look that bad?" What the hell? No. That was excellent CG at the time, and it's still really great even today. I dunno why it bothers me so much. Perhaps it's because I understand what goes into making that stuff.
