The security set and its variants are fucking rad too [editline]30th April 2015[/editline] And while Dead Space 3 had [big] problems, I really dig the legionary suit.
As with every other final fantasy design made in the last 5 years. Get rid of half the spikes and capes and it would be a good design.
There is actually a spike-less version of it somewhere.. The color scheme of it is just a bit less.
¨ Kevlar.
That lower-half face mask looks like a paintball mask.
I love the white variant of this armor.
The Soylent Green Helmet is a classic; [T]http://s11.postimg.org/7haqhx0y9/dds.png[/T]
That lower-half face mask looks like a paintball mask.
No trigger discipline leads to believe that yes, it's some paintballer.
FF15's main character design is the worst. Everybody dresses like normal modern people and they look like a bunch of boy band douchebags with ten thousand dollars of product put into their hair.
To be fair he's a crown prince.
Pretty certain it's from that Uwe Boll film where the dude goes on a rampage shooting up his town.
The Romans are one of the few civilisations in history to create armour that looks aesthetically awesome to behold and yet was practical and effective I find Medieval warfare quite boring because there's a lot of wearing the same dull, honestly crappy looking armour like chain mail with a surcoat or leather. Yeah, it is practical, and yes you've got your scale armour here and there and that looks reasonable. Later you've got plate armour that outside of the suits produced in the HRE looks pretty underwhelming, or maybe that's just popular historical culture running it dry. i think chainmail and surcoat actually looks pretty cool in an everyman redshirt kind of way tbh just your normal everyday minor knight guy fighting some dudes in a serious fashion, ain't got time for plate armor, i got jugulars to open
Yes, it does count as fucking armour. Don't belive me? Go ask the nexus modding community. EDIT: [sp] although fucking armour is a pretty good description IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN[/sp]

Bigger first picture. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Nl44AEp.png[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/zf7JyeJ.jpg[/img_thumb] Fantastic set, i absolutely adore it. I use pieces of it in my Spellsword character with Pate's gloves/boots. [editline] oo bby u hurt so gud [/editline] Benhart's set is sort of a "heavy" version of that.
They have the AT field that renders them invincible. Remove that and they're pretty shit-tier mecha.
Except your gundam arm gets ripped off you have to build an entire new arm, this 50/50 chance it grows back immediatly, if not shove it into a tank and it'll be back in a bit. The whole giant extension cord out their back is not only a great excuse to end all fights in 5 minutes, but also because its a giant robot that plugs into a freaking giant outlet

Just sit back and plink at it and it's done. I could go on but Evas aren't good for fighting things that aren't Angels. [editline]1st May 2015[/editline] Let's not even begin to introduce flight or lunar titanium being nigh-invulnerable. An Eva could maybe dig a bit into it with the prog knife if it had time but then you've got a beam saber in your face.
I'm not sure if this was already posted but: Honestly, I really like the ornamental yet military looking armor these Thunder Crash guys have.
The Fluted Armor from Demon's Souls is pretty bitchin'. It's also cool how parts of it's model were used for the knight armor in Dark Souls. Like they have the same polys and everything.
Honestly, the Elite Knight Armor gets too much praise. The Knight Armor is just as awesome in my opinion.
I prefer using the normal knight stuff, especially in DS2. The EK set has that gloss to it that doesn't match with basically anything.

While not from any specific piece of media, I stumbled across the Red Knights of Beacon and the unnumbered Red Knights a few weeks ago and was immediately enamored. The ranger looks like it'd chafe like a motherfucker.

I really want a game or something to use these character designs

For the Future- Sam's Augmented Reality Suit. It looks and feels badass. Who wouldn't want to try this: For the Medieval Ages- Armor related to lone warriors and kings like Artorias, The Inquisitor, The Ivory King, Vendrick, and Gwyn.
Helghast armor has always been one of my favorites. It just looks so damn effective.
What is up with her pose?
She's The Mage, so i'm assuming she's doing the floaty spellcaster dealie.
I fucking love the Helghast armor [t]https://i.warosu.org/data/tg/img/0359/92/1415331513007.jpg[/t]
Not to mention it just looks intimidating but it doesn't sacrifice practicality. It's a shame because I honestly thought the Helghast in Killzone 4 looked disappointing.
I always thought it a shame that only the bad guys got the awesome intimidating armor. Was glad to see the Helghast turn that around
I always thought it a shame that only the bad guys got the awesome intimidating armor. Was glad to see the Helghast turn that around
Helghast aren't exactly good natured :v:
