I always thought the mech-augs from the Deus Ex series in general looked really bad-ass, especially the ones with armor plating.
Not so much armor as desert survival gear, but I really dig stillsuits. Cool concept behind them - wouldn't work in real life, but neither would most of the stuff in this thread :v:

The Colovian Fur Helm. Truly, it is the pinnacle of style. "M'aiq longs for a Colovian Fur Helm. Practical, yet stylish. M'aiq is very sad he does not have one."
The Deep Eyes from the Final Fantasy film were fucking sweet. Their armor wasn't too bad.
Jousting armor weighed up to 100 pounds. Regular knightly armor was much lighter and extremely flexible.
Imagine going stealth in that CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK
Imagine going stealth in that CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK
It was quiet that night. Too quiet. The soft, harmonious sound of clanking was the only thing we heard. It was comforting. Then, without warning, the knights were upon us. Coming from the trees. We were lambs to the slaughter. Private Winkles was the first. Head sliced right off by an errant bastard sword. After him was Corporal Masters; skull caved in by a pommel strike. Exploded like a watermelon. He loved watermelon. What a bloodbath. What were we fighting for.
always thought the trenchcoat combine looked considerably more oppressive than the ones we got in release. They should make a comeback if half life ever gets continued!
iirc the only reason they dropped the trenchcoats was because rigging the cloth physics alongside the animation skeleton proved too difficult. contributing with another fun design, proving Isaac's armor quirks work on damn near anything:
Speaking of Isaac, the Elite Advanced Suit from Dead Space 2. [t]http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/deadspace/images/0/02/AdvancedRIG.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20110205004414[/t] Truely the best suit Isaac can obtain, it's even on the front cover. Other than the awesome carbon fiber design, it boasts the maximum 25% damage resistance, the largest amount of inventory space, a 10% damage boost to all weapons, and a 15% longer duration to Statis freezing enemies. And just to top it off in case you're a fan of other suits, DS2 has a system that whatever suit you wear that has the largest damage resistance and inventory space will then apply to your weaker suits. Effectively you can run around in a leather jacket and jeans with a gasmask and still be as impervious.

I think Dead Space works a lot better when it's about some average engineer using his practical suit and a bunch of mining/labor tools as improvised weapons to survive than when it's about a guy who happened to stumble on an assault rifle and full military body armor who's here to kick ass as space rambo.

[img_thumb]http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100801222917/megaman/images/9/9d/ZeroCharSheetX5.jpg[/img_thumb] Always been a fan of Zero's armour.
warframe has the worst armor
Warframe has the worst everything when it comes to weapons and armour design, really. :v:
Warframe is the worst.

Helghast armor has always been one of my favorites. It just looks so damn effective.

It's like facepunch made an army.
But Kasrkins start as meatshields when they're around 14, and if they do well they basically turn into Super Navy Seals.
[t]http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/megaman/images/c/c6/X6ShadowArmorConcept.jpg[/t] X's armors have always been neat, but I think the Shadow armor looks the coolest. Invulnerability to instant-death spikes, clinging onto walls and ceilings, jump SUPER high, and blasting laser-shirukens.
But Kasrkins start as meatshields when they're around 14, and if they do well they basically turn into Super Navy Seals.
If I remember correctly, Kasrkin are enhanced in some ways. I don't remember in what ways though. [editline]21st April 2015[/editline] Also, this is one of my favorite fictional armors. Power armor used by the Adepta Sororitas. I'm not gonna bother posting a picture, but I like the armor designs in mass effect.
If I remember correctly, Kasrkin are enhanced in some ways. I don't remember in what ways though.
Just cyber-prosthetics, not too uncommon in 40k.
