While the song and context is very happy in tone. but with my personal memories this song gets kinda sad with the infamous line "swing down sweet chariot let me ride" you can say i lost a few good people listening to this song. Kinda like a goodbye song. "Time to move on."

This song reminds me that there's always hope in the end of the tunnel. even if things don't look the brightest.
As you can tell. I listen to a lot of emotional songs.

we all volunteered and we wrote down our names, and we added two years to our ages
eager for life and ahead of the game, ready for history's pages
i heard my friend cry and he sank to his knees, coughing blood as he screamed for his mother
and i fell by his side and that's how we died; clinging like kids to eachother

It's not that good of a song, but it was the last song I heard before my grandfather passed away. So whenever I hear it, I get flashbacks to when he passed away and I tear up like mad.

Is is strange that listening to songs that I find sad, or that make me sad, actually make me feel a little bit better to listen to when I'm already upset/sad?
This is Hollywood Undead's part two to "Bullet." It's unexpectedly melancholy. They actually do have some great music.
I woke up feeling the same way
That I did yesterday
Don't know what these tears would say
But I miss my friend that went away
I watch the seasons as they go:
The rain, the sun, the heat, the snow
I don't know much, but this I know:
I miss my friend, I miss him so
