a "what" rating, maybe? it could be a pickle. although the "get out" rating actually sounds like it might work. didn't someone make an icon for one?
although the "get out" rating actually sounds like it might work. didn't someone make an icon for one?
Yeah, it looks something like this:
We need a rating saying, "The content is dumb, not you"
Op, you're a god for making this thread. Anyway, only new one I'd really want is "what the Christ"
I still think a simple "what" would have more universal usage. A "what the christ" rating fits well for really obscure images or creepy comments and such, but not as well with posts that are confusing but not in a weird or creepy manner. It really would not make much sense to rate a post that is unintelligible for terrible grammar "what the christ", or someone making an very incorrect claim, or goes completely off topic, etc.
We need a rating saying, "The content is dumb, not you"
Or you could just say along with your opinion that it was for the content. For example:
I think this shit sucks because blahblahblah and it should be abolished immediately (hence a dumb for the article/content, not the OP)
It'd be useful though.
kill yourself
Wasn't there an thread in the creationism corner about people mixing ratings together?
As I do believe some people really don't think it's neccisary to have lots of ratings, and just sticking with disagree or winner as an example, it's still a tiny effort change to implement some more ratings that more or less only removes having to guess wich way somone meant to use the rating. Not saying that I myself really need more ratings, but it certainly wouldn't be bad either. I'd see nothing wrong with having over fifty different kinds of ratings. Aslong as they're useful.
^^ neccisary Bad spelling
We need bad reading back. However, I don't think bad spelling should come back because it made people completely miss the point of the post and instead rate it bad spelling because they said "its" and instead of "it's" or because they accidentally hit a extra letter that doesn't matter.

Yes and No: posts in which you agree with some points, but not others If anyone can make a better icon, please do so.
question mark (Instead of dumb or anything negative it's basically "Confusing post", horrible grammar or wrong thread) + Ironic post + Calm down/Chill + Spaghetti would be nice aka someones aggressive as hell "CALM DOWN" reducing negative is a good idea, dumb and spaghetti would be idea as the only negative ones. "calm down" or "Chill" would be ideal. it would be interesting if we had a duplicate rating, a "Agree/Disagree" as said above. Chill, and Confusing are my favorite ideas I'd say for me. They both should be added. Totally. :v: question mark and ice cube.
Get the frick off the internet You 12-year-old. We don't need you here.
this explains itself really. Top ratings: you Was Rated: 225 x Dumb 29 x Funny him Was Rated: 1024 x Funny 611 x Agree [SUB][SUP][SUB][SUP][SUB][SUP][SUB]Get the fuck off the internet You 12-year-old. We don't need you here.[/SUB][/SUP][/SUB][/SUP][/SUB][/SUP][/SUB] btw you can swear your mommy isn't watching you know.
Yes and No: posts in which you agree with some points, but not others If anyone can make a better icon, please do so.
In this case it would probably be better to reply, stating what you agree/disagree with and why. The purpose of ratings is to cut out useless posts like "I agree" or "This is cool", not to obsoletify traditional posting altogether.
"Neat" Rating. A little camera. Artistic and winner are sort of similar, but winner is more for awesome stuff and artistic is for pretty or well-put-together things.
Bad spelling.
