How do you handle the 'accidental spit' in a conversation?

I turn around and run like fuck, at full speed until I get home, where I stay for a couple of weeks, crying into my pillow.

After a while I come back and act as if everything's normal.

Last time my friend accidentally did this talking to me, I just pissed myself laughing instead. He laughed for a moment, stopped, considered, got embarrassed and ran off. Came back 5 mins later and the conversation continued like nothing happened.

Though I was tested in 2nd grade, I have to assume that it was the The Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale, because after the test I was mostly put into Gifted classes, since the WAIS scale is the standard for today. In addition, I've played lots of video games but I am still getting high grades and have even skipped grades in a few classes, so that IQ may be higher or lower, it could also depend on if it was on a different scale, but in general, its how you use the intelligence that matters. And since I'm getting 90%-100% in all my classes, I would say I'm using my intelligence to its full potential.
