Most people prefer GTA V map because it's bigger but I personally think LC has more charm and space distribution.
I got slightly disappointed by how small Los Santos is. It just feels weird how Grove Street ant its surroundings are just a few blocks, with Downtown, Rockford Hills and Vespucci Beach right next to it.

Awesome choice.
Hailfire Peaks from Banjo-Tooie. I like both sides, but only bothered with one picture.

The Earth Temple from Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. It has my favorite character and favorite item in it, plus I think it's all-around a fun place.

And finally, pl_badwater from Team Fortress 2. It's the map that introduced me to payload, which I think is one of the funnest gamemodes around.

Besides my two siblings, you're the only other person I've met who likes Baby Park. Everybody else I've asked hates it.
The first encounter of the assassins in the Black Mesa remake. They became pretty badass with all the new animations. I wish someone made a game with only these enemies.

One of the best Call of Duty before the 5 year old came.

Nyleve's falls from Unreal 1. One of my favorite levels for its atmosphere and music.
I always loved playing Spartanovka in RO2.

the coop maps and toybox maps in hl2:dm where some of my favorites
Halo 3's multiplayer map Rat's Nest. It was basically a big square race track for with warthog combat and and middle section for cqb combat.
Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer map High Rise. It's relatively symmetrical and small. It's a great maps because it gives you lots of options is the kind of tight, well designed maps that Call of Duty needs more of.

What game is this from?
The Foundry map from Halo 3 was amazing just because of the fact that people got really creative and invented some great maps with it.

Foundry was great and all, but it didn't have shit on Forge World.

Such an expansive and fun map to mess around on. Haven't tried the Ascend version, but I'm sure they didn't fuck it up.

This has gotta be my favourite from vanilla Battlefields, especially infantry only. If the EU made an effort not to let the PAC slip through, it was a solid fight.
Is that supposed to look like a guy in camouflage with a balaclava shaking his fist in front of him? I've outlined it for reference.

This is my favorite BG in WoW. You can easily take the game back after losing horribly. It can be pretty intense at times.

Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST were the last Halo games that I bought. I played the fuck out of Forge mode and made a ton of maps. When my friends got Reach and Halo 4, I tried the forge modes but for some reason it felt very difficult to do anything. I don't know why, but I kept getting frustrated and I'd just give up on those two.
On topic:

I played the everliving fuck out of this game. Of all the games I've played, few have even come close to the feeling of wonder and excitement that I felt when I emerged from the sewer for the first time. I'd give anything to experience that moment again.
Also, I'd give anything to forget how to fast travel again. Took me 3 months to find the fast travel option, so I walked/rode horse everywhere. It's a much more impressive game when played like that, imo.

This map brings back a lot of frustrating memories because we would always lose to the horde on this map. Overpowered racials.
The Ascend version is an absolute joke of a map. About the only remake they didn't screw up is Raindance and that's only because they did it nearly 1:1 with the original(s).
Well shit. Guess I'll be playing Tribes 2 forever then, and I won't have a problem with that.
I'm assuming map sizes were butchered?
