I have more respect for people who actually play an instrument than people who just sing. Someone with a guitar had to learn how to use it, how to tune it, take care of it, the songs he plays etc.
Someone who sings just has to not fuck up their vocal cords by smoking/whatever, and not forget lyrics.

I dunno, I think you need just as much talent to do [I]anything[/I] well.
But the music 'singers' make is just so boring. I don't like music where it's just a platform for another instrument: I like it when everything comes together and you can just sit there and think "that's tight" rather than "she can sing".

I haven't seen AI in years, I think I might give it another viewing some time.
I can sing some songs, I can't get my voice really high but I can get it from low to moderate to somewhat high.

David and Teddy are the only mechas who have seen real humans (since humans died out) so they're important to the alien-mechas.
