It went after Zoey and wouldn't stop hitting her, so Louis and I were piling M16 rounds into him. Hannah ran away and she didn't come back until it was dead.
Zoey and Louis were bots, the other 2 we were playing with left.

But then it wouldn't have been killed, Hannah ran halfway back into the building we just came out of to get away. Would have incapped Louis as well.
probably one of the only achievements that i have yet to get in l4d for the survivors is to take a tank out 1 on 1
