Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs - 2 hour walking simulator.
PayDay 2 - Crap of Duty clone.
Demintium 2 HD - I would rather masturbate with sandpaper while having lava poured into my ass and liquid metal poured onto my eyes and left to harden then to ever even look at the menu for this.
GTA V wasn't great upon release because of server overload, but I can't see anything bad about it.
Regardless of server problems, I don't think the multiplayer is enjoyable.
Loved the single-player though.
MechWarrior Online.
Shit game made by asshole developers that shut down every other MechWarrior game with legal threats.
Nintendo E-Shop (3DS)
I only got to connect like 3 times.
:v:
Ride to Hell Retribution
Bioshock Infinite.
Alien Colonial Marines - False advertising, buggy, mediocre gameplay. Definitely the biggest disappointment this year.
Day One: Garry's Incident - Unfinished piece of crap game with a developer that tries to silence anyone that gives this game a negative review.
Sim City - Barely functional always online, extremely limited city building and the developers just lying straight out that Sim City cannot function without DRM.
I just wanna see a supercharged Sim City 4 instead of this train wreck.
Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure
While i admit that it was indeed fun, it couldn't stay fun for all too long, since there wasn't as much puzzles as Scribblenauts Unlimited (yes, this includes the randomly generated puzzles thrown at you whenever you restarted the map). The only thing that it had going for it is that you could make your own freak of nature out of your favourite DC comics superhero/supervillain.
Ragnarok Online 2: Age Of The Second
The original Ragnarok Online is an old school grindy korean MMORPG. The kind where you could kill the same raccoon for weeks trying to get the rare hat it drops and never get it, all the while getting 0.01% of the experience needed to level up in the process. A flawed game, but aside from being the first MMO I've ever played it has a certain charm to it that not everyone sees.
Age Of The Second is the second attempt at making a sequel. The original Ragnarok Online 2: Gate Of The New World, was scrapped because it while for the time it looked nice it didn't really capture the spirit of RO and was kind of dull. AOTS on the other hand is just flatout awful, and if it has any redeeming qualities I sure didn't see them.
It feels like a Ragnarok themed World Of Warcraft mod. Every class plays very similarly except for little things like being ranged or melee. Quests amount to standard fare like "kill x amount of monster y", "kill x amount of monster z, which is like y but aggressive/assists its own kind", "kill monster 1 until it drops something it stole from me/until you 50 of some part that should drop from every kill but doesn't" and "kill the boss rank monster 2, which happens to only show up once every 3 hours". They wouldn't be anything to complain about if the game wasn't so slow and dull.
Going back to character classes, the fact they were trying to copy WoW is pretty blatant. Thief for an example, relies on building up combo points, like a WoW Rogue. Also, none of the thief classes have any sort of a stealing ability. This could be seen though, as a way of preventing Real Money Trade bot farms of thief types ruining the game like they did to the original. Hunter gets royally screwed as the traps they rely on to keep stuff away from them have a 2 minute cool down. And unless you distribute your stats towards defense, you are squishy as all hell as a hunter.
Other bad things are an annoying experience curve that typical of most MMOS is just goading you into paying for a experience boost. A crafting system that relies on monster drops that just don't drop often enough. Hats, a major selling point of the original RO are just for show and extremely hard to get. As an added bonus: should you actually find one, its TIMED unless it was purchased for real money from the cash shop.
I had little faith in this when it was just a rumor 6 or 7 years ago. I originally thought it was because I was biased towards gameplay and graphical styling of the original. After actually playing it, I guess i just knew a bad thing when I saw it long before it was a thing.
Just purchased Payday 2 today and this thread has made me paranoid as fuck about it.
Aliens: Colonial Marines.
Eat a dick Gearbox.

as dry as the game gets, just remember, there's the kawaii mask to look forward to. Soon thereafter, expect thousands of hours.
Aliens: Colonial Marines and Amnesia: Machine For Pigs. I think they were one of the few games I actually pre-ordered this year because I was excited for both of them. I've learnt my lessons finally on pre-ordering games now.
I was about to say that in 2013 I played games I knew I would enjoy to some degree. But then I remembered Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs. I blame myself for not looking into who was developing it. It's not a bad game but if you are a fan of the first I think you'll be disappointed.
Stanley parable
FIFA 14. I mean who likes FIFA?
I don't buy bad games, so I don't have an answer for this.

Awful story telling, characters are very 2-D and the plot was so awful it felt like a kids movie.
Generic boring FPS gameplay
Didn't even live up to 1% of the hype
2/10
Takedown : Red sabre was a pretty bad game considering all the hype that was around it

You're using Internet Explorer, you can't have opinion.
But yes, it sucks.

I like Pele's Soccer on Atari 2600 over FIFA.
