Jazzy, maybe you should explain to your psychologist that you no longer feel suicidal and that was in the past and you simply no longer feel any draw toward killing yourself. Maybe explain to her your anxieties. If she's simply not working out for you try to talk to your parents about finding another one. I saw a psychologist for awhile and it really helped to have someone I could open to. We actually had almost developed a friendship. It sounds like yours is not able to understand you. Try talking to her about that as nicely as you can without sounding insulting.
Also, try to be optimistic about reaching this new tier in school. New things are exciting. It's really a great opportunity to start with a clean slate.
Well, at occassions I still feel so low down I feel suicidal, but I just can't allow myself to do it. Not yet atleast. It's not only of my past. But that's not really the problem. I don't think she's a bad psychologist, and that she doesn't understand me. The problem is the solution... I feel like talking is not the solution to my problem, but at the same time it feels like nothing is the solution for my problem.
And I am optimistic about getting into a new school, I love new things and I'll (hopefully) learn stuff I actually like. But if I'm in this... state... If I feel like this when I'm moving on to that school it's gonna be horrible. Right now I can't act properly, I have a really hard time speaking to people and social problems in general which I know I usually don't. And I'm doing awful in school aswell because of the sate I'm in. So basically, if I'm in this state when I start my new school I'll be failing so hard.
[editline]17th January 2011[/editline]
Also, in school today. My friend is so god damn annoying. I'm gonna feel like shit for saying this but... He's so fucking annoying. He complains all of the time, does nothing but complain. I'm tired, I'm thirsty, I'm hungry, my stomach hurts, my head hurts, I can't do this assignment, and so on... He complains every day, all of the time, to me. Normally I don't have a problem with this, I just nod, listen, answer where I have to since he just goes on and on and on and on. Feels sorry for himself all of the time. I never had a problem with this but it's getting on my nerves, he's very self-centrated. And whenever he complains he also has to make it so complicated and drag it out like... if he has a headache he goes like "I have this headache, but it's not like just a little one you know? I feel it like in the back of my head... like when you've had too little to drink you know? I'm so thirsty...". I feel like such an asshole cause he's a cool guy, I just can't handle him.
[editline]17th January 2011[/editline]
And he's always so competetive. We're just playing basketball or something at sports in School and we're kinda playing for fun. He always counts the points, though no one cares. Then afterward if his team "won" he goes around bragging on about it and shit, though no one cares.
He always has to make a big deal out of such little, unimportant things.
Damnit, how long will it be untill I actually start hurting my friends and family around me unintentional or perhaps even unintentional?
So what I said earlier is true. A lot of the stuff in here does fit in Love Advice. Why did you drag that to this thread instead of just responding where it was appropriate (in LA)?
I mean, I read it and all. I think your advice is sound enough, and I enjoy reading what you post, but why would you feel the need to pull that into this thread?
i kinda wanted to rant about the subject. I do think however think that LA forum is kinda shunned in the corner, in the sense that its a little hard to find (especially if you dont know it exists) and i feel like some issues it shows are really important and should be shown to a bigger audience, like General Discussion.
And yes i do agree that some people on here should post their problems in LA, they did get some good advice here, but Maverick has some good advice in there too.

I don't know, man. I'm not really well versed in psychology. I'm sorry you feel so down. What exactly do you think your problem is? Do you know?
I'm glad you're optimistic about school. I've found when I'm down that learning new material and homework keeps me occupied and keeps my mind from wondering about things that don't really matter.
I'm sorry your friend complains a lot. It sounds like he just wants attention. Maybe he doesn't feel like he has adequate amount at home or something and so he goes to you. Try to give him attention and be a good friend. I'm just making assumption in this scenario so once again i don't really know.
[editline]17th January 2011[/editline]
With the competitive thing maybe you should kindly tell him it's just a game and to enjoy being with everyone instead of focusing on the competitive aspect.
I don't feel like you should feel like you're going to hurt your friends and family. People get annoyed with each other just talk to him reasonably and listen to what he has to say in return.

Ah thanks for your concerns, it's nice! And again I'm not sure what my problem is, I feel like shit and I can't do anything about it I guess is the problem... not very specific but that's what I've got. And my friend, he's got aspergers syndrome, which has some if not alot to do with it. I do give him alot of attention and I try to be as good of a friend as I can be. I guess I've been kind of a mentor to him, as he had really hard time with people around him and making friends, but I let him hang with me and we shared alot of interests so he got comfortable with me, and all of his current friends he's gotten through me. So I guess that's why he takes out close to everything on me.
No problem, man. I'm just doing my best to understand. Honestly, it sounds like your problem is in your head which i guess is obvious but it could mean that you may have some chemical imbalance in your brain either due to hormones that run rampant when you're a teenager or it could be some sort of serious condition.

Yeah, it's definitely in my head, as the life I'm living really is just fine. I think.
I'm really tired of the whole religious bullshit. There is no proof of god and for the love of him (if he existed) don't try to shove the whole " well science is nothing but theroys" it's fucking retarded, and frankly i don't give a shit if i offend people i try to post a logical athiest quote on my face book once a day or once a week, and sometimes i get good comments by people that share their ideas, or believe in buddhism or something that makes more sense then christiainty or islam or any other bull shit story.
I can't count the times that my 2 close friends (mind you they are bible thumpin christian lovers) have told me that science is based solely on theroy's, true as it may be, the difference with science and religion is that AT LEAST science accecpts facts to help either PROVE OR DISPROVE those theory's and 99% of the time science wins.
If you're reading this and you take offense why don't you pray about it you stuipd fucks, i hate the fact that people will sit here and aruge when if you sit down and think with that spongy substance in your head called a brain, and maybe open your eyes wide enough to get pass the bible you're reading maybe you will realize the logic of it all and kick yourself in the ass for being brainwashed.
My friends religion is regarded by the wise as false, the common as true and the leaders as useful, deny it all you want, beliving in something DOESN'T make it true, WISHING for something to be true....DOESN'T MAKE IT TRUE. Faith in something without seeing it is what we call IGNORANCE.....ON the whole idea of faith, i'm told by many that i need to have "faith" in him for god to exist for me. Ignorance is a bliss i guess right?
And to the people that Pray all the time and get some of their's answered, it's no damn different if i sit down and pray to a glass of water for a job, and a week later i get one, i would assume the HOLY GLASS OF WATER gave me magical powers to obtain a job when in fact the persistince that i put forth is what actually got me the job.
I had to get all that bullshit off my chest, and infact i leave you with some highly thought provoking quotes...(don't read them if you are religious as you are already brainwashed and won't care to understand them) But if you're not brainwashed and you have a high enough IQ to know the truth please read the quotes and make comments on them.

Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man -- living in the sky -- who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do.. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time! ..But He loves you.

i LOVE the quotes. Im agnostic myself, mainly bc i dont give a shit if people can prove a god or not, who cares? Anyway i hope you dont mind if i use some of these quotes, they would make great debate enders, i cant wait to use one.
I sold a 100ml jar a semen for $5 because the person who bought it off of me can't ejaculate for shit and wants to get a girl pregnant
I consider myself a pretty strong atheist too. And honestly, I'd like to see a world without organized religion. I just think that defeats the purpose of religion and can lead to brainwashing and corruption. Try to be reasonable and realize that people have opposing views and many Christians aren't ignorant and most have firm grips of reality and don't take the bible as complete one hundred percent fact.
[editline]17th January 2011[/editline]
I love the last one, the Russian Proverb
A lot of people rely on faith so heavily because it is all they have left or they can't comprehend their own mortality. For some death is hard to understand so they just go with the philosophy that gets them out of that mindset of not knowing, and they won't bother questioning it because they want to believe it is true. Of course this does not apply to everyone and everyone has different views on it.
I'm on edge watching this thread discuss religion... That's a dangerous topic around FacePunch. Wouldn't want the thread closed.
meh, doesnt look like its taking a hold to this thread, nothing to really say about it, it will just move on.
stuff.
I feel the same way about religion, and unfortunately most of the people I know are Christian. I read some of the thing they post on Facebook, and it just makes me annoyed for some reason. I used to go to church, but stopped. Few examples:

Eh, I've always believed that personal faith should be just that. Personal. No need to justify it to anyone other than yourself, because it shouldn't affect anyone but yourself.
This is why I avoid religious debate altogether. It's my faith and it shouldnt matter to anyone but myself. No need to argue the logistics of it so fervently. It is what it is. I'm at peace with what I believe and if someone else is not, that's not my concern.

yeah, too bad no one else is going to be or act like that in a realistic manner, when they interpret their faithful, and decided to dedicate their lives to convert none-believers.
all in all, everyones wrong in my opinion.
even the atheists.
but i still side with the atheists.
Eh attempting to convert someone is 99% unsuccessful because half the time, the person on the receiving end couldn't care less.
Most people have no idea what they're doing.
Personally, I feel that converting people isn't my responsibility. So I'm not going to try and drag people into something that they don't care about. It's pointless, and I'm sure if someone tried to do the same to me, it'd be just as annoying.
Anywayssss, backing away from the religion topic now.

Ugh. I don't know if I should go for something now but wouldn't last long for certain reasons or wait out for something else in which the result is still up in the air.
life would be a lot less hectic if you used contraception or abstinence, im very against people having sex in high school mainly bc it is 9 times out of 10 its very bad sex and you might as well wait the bit to get to college where you can find the perfect girl for you/ and people have more experience. Of course it sounds like im contradicting myself by saying dont have sex in high school that way you have sex with people in college with experience (then where did they get the experience?), but there is a lot less at risk if you have a kid in college than high school.
9/10 times of what? first-time sex or sex in general. I'm still in high school and my first time took me four hours to cum because I was on 5 monster energy drinks that day. I'm surprised my heart didn't fail. Everytime (2-3 times a day after that) was great... What'chu talkin' bout Willis?
Gah! Why? I feel like I would just quit and go find a nice dark corner to wait for my heart to calm down in.
Then again, I have a heart condition called somethin'-somethin' Tachycardia and it causes my heart to beat like I've been sprinting for a mile and a half at full speed. It does this randomly and lasts for a little while, but it makes you feel like crap. It's like my blood is 'dizzy'. I assume it's because my breathing is fairly regular and I'm not getting enough oxygen in my blood...
Anyway, I imagined your heart racing like that, but it probably wasn't. I imagined that it was doing that for four hours, and it made me very upset.

go for it, any relationship is a relationship and it creates a new experience. Even if its short and silly its an experience none the less, and i rather be wise than smart. What i mean is go out there and enjoy yourself instead of sitting inside and speculating on "what if?". Who knows maybe the first wont last long and you find something right after, just go for it.

Yea but just in a relationship to be in one is kind of pointless, it would feel like it's empty and meaningless. But if I wait for the other one to see what happens and nothing comes out of it then I'd feel like I did nothing with my time.
I'm gonna get something small off my chest as it's bothering me, so me and my family (well mom) are poor, we struggle with just about everything involving money and we suffer a shit ton of bullshit, my birthday is on the 21st of feb. and despite everything my mom sold some of her stuff she didn't need to get me Marvel vs Capcom 3, the special edition even, anyone who knows me knows I'm fucking thrilled about it so having a preorder is nice. I worked to cover for it etc.
Fast forward to today, I'm having a rather good day when I get a phone call saying that as the demand for the special edition was so high they took more orders then they'd have and cut me back to the normal edition, now, I'm rather upset over it as it was one of the biggest things for me to look forward to and I feel like I'm getting a heavy smack in the face for a mistake on their part. Specially as it was something I really wanted and was hard enough to save up for. It's upsetting with the circumstances.
