I'm a pretentious loser who can't do anything right.
My girlfriend just broke up with me out of nowhere.
I'm sorry to here that Binsky :ohdear: As for me, my computer is the biggest hunk of shit on God's green earth. I tell you what. Everytime I start it up, something else is wrong with it. Disappearing text, Internet freezing, Youtube videos skipping ahead 10 seconds at a time. It's fun to find out what happens next after every reboot.
Well, great news, guys. After talking to her for five hours and a gallon of tears later, we resolved everything. It was really tough at first when she denied it and kept saying she wanted to leave me but I managed to show her what she was doing wrong and when she saw the posts of facepunch, she broke down crying and saying sorry. And some more talking later, we got back together but now she's like her old self again. She said she's breaking up with the guy tomorrow because it's too late now (time), lol. But facepunch, I thank you for keeping me happy and I just thought you guys would love to know how it turned out. Thank you.
i'm glad you're happy. I'd be careful with her though, man.
Currently talking to someone I care about and they're telling me some odd stuff about being beat up in the past. Now normally my friend is just silly and says random stuff late at night when they're really tired so I'm sure if I should be taking this seriously or not.
Try asking them if their serious...? You want to probably be careful in asking that though.
They fell asleep. Guess it will remain a mystery for the most part, managed to get some info but not much. [editline]22nd January 2011[/editline] Not sure how a conversation about pancakes goes to talking about getting beat up.
Well about a couple months ago someone explained something to me that generally makes me want to avoid high-school dating entirely, though at the same time I don't like the idea of not dating. Given I've never had a girlfriend (a 'meh' situation but still frustrating a bit) - my friend explained something to me when we were on the topic of high school dating. This topic had come up after I heard for the 100th time how some random girl broke up with some random guy at my school. I said, "It pretty much seems to me that high school dating is pointless - all anyone does is dates for a couple weeks and then it's over. Utter waste of time." To which my friend replied, "High-school dating is supposed to be like practice, it's mutually exclusive, and if you're trying to find love, you're just going to f*ck yourself over. If you don't do it you usually end up looking like a complete tool later on if you try to have a relationship with someone." Which made a whole damn lot of sense to me. I had never thought of it that way before, and it kind of pisses me off to think about. Why even make the effort to try to have a lasting relationship with someone at this point if it only leads to disaster? And if I don't waste my time getting 'practice', I'll end up looking like a tool later on. Even if I did try to waste my time with this stuff, I'm vice president of the school's gaming club and I'm pretty sure I don't have any looks working for me either. As if I ever had a chance... It's hard to have confidence about these things when one can't help but over-think everything. *ForeverAloneFace.jpg* It all kind of makes me jealous of those rare couples who actually stay together past highschool.

Not sure.
Not sure.
Boston pancake is when you shit on a girls chest and flatten it with your ass by the way, so if you were talking about it, you seriously have problems.
Then no, it wasn't about that.
My girlfriend just broke up with me out of nowhere.
I feel like such a douche for not noticing this. I am so sorry to hear that, man. Any ideas why?
highschool dating
Here's my opinion on high school dating. Do it if you want to, dont do it if you dont feel like it. Simple, if you feel attracted to a girl and want to get to know her more, ask her out. For a couple of weeks you get to know them and connect, but it mostly hits a point where you find a flaw of some sort and thats when you break up. The only thing with high school is 2 things. 1) if they are young/immature, they mistake attraction for "love" 2) high school has social limits (not much of variety of partners) For the first bit, i would say my past few weeks of posting in Love Advice have taught me a lot. That most people between the ages of 14-18 believe they are "in love" with the person they are either dating for a few weeks or months, or "in love" with someone that they haven't even asked out yet. So this shows that young people dont quite understand what love is. I dont believe it is permanent, because it isnt, because it takes both people to constantly add to the relationship. They also mistake attraction for love. I had the same problem when it came to having crushes. Just because you like the person and you both carry on friendly conversations and what not, doesnt mean you love them (im talking about people who havent asked the person out yet). This is usually seen as "the girl of my dreams". Guess what, there will be others, she is not the only one that will tickle your fancy. And i find young people just dont get that, they get into those relationships where they think "this is the one", and then with that attitude, ruins the relationship (ultimately being devastated). The second bit, in high school you have little variety and many social rules that fuck with relationships. There aren't as many girls in the school, thus your choices are limited. That means that its difficult to find that "one" that matches with your personality, or whatever you are looking for. Also, because of the dreaded cliques in schools, it makes it your choice incredibly smaller. You dont really see goths mixing with jocks, and nerds mixing with potheads. Thats because in your little high school, the students have divided themselves, making unspoken rules to not mix the groups. So this is what makes finding a good partner difficult. In college the canvas is so large there are no boundaries to what group you can join and you can date whoever with out others giving a shit (unlike cliques). So, is dating in high school worth it? only if you are in the mindset. If you are ready for a relationship, go for it. Experience is what makes life interesting, and it adds to your wisdom and will help you in the future. Keep in mind a relationship is no cakewalk, but it is something to try when you are ready. also by your post, i dont think you are ready. The number one thing is confidence, so clean yourself up and make yourself feel good. If you think you look good, then you will act confident and you will become more approachable/attractive.
I had a sexual experiance at camp. NOT GAY
someone in my high school was raped in a sleepaway camp when he was little. Yes, he. And yes he is now gay, but i remember he opened up with a poem he read aloud in class, it was very sad and shit, no one knew.
I had a sexual experiance at camp. NOT GAY
I've had sexual experiences at camp with both men and women.

There's only a handful of people who do not fit in this category, I'd say including me. The girl I was talking about earlier, I think she looks good but not like the hottest girl in my school (and I don't really care about how girls look, so I don't even know who that is). But I love everything about her. She's smart, modest, helpful, funny, everything I could ask for. By the way, the list goes on.
My friends girlfriend keeps comparing me to her exes, it bugs me and him, he gets bugged because she's talking about her exes in front of him and it bugs me because I don't want to be compared to some random guy I've never met before.
I think you're beautiful. I want to talk to you more. Only reason I'm not is because I don't want to come off as a creep.
Kind of overwhelmed. I've got five guys, all interested in me, two I don't even know, one is my ex, one I only see as a brother, and one who doesn't even live here. uH this is a little nuts

I might as well start recruiting for a harem. [editline]23rd January 2011[/editline]
That the same ex who refuses to let go or something like that?
yeah that dude [editline]23rd January 2011[/editline] it's funny because I'm only really interested in one of them but either way though, I'm not interested in a relationship any time soon with anyone. I want to wait until this semester is over to start PERUSING
Got mugged for the second damn time, it could of been avoided and if I was sober I would of spotted it a mile off, so I feel pretty stupid now. Fuck I hate some of the people in this world.
but I do from Kim
Kim? Is that 'Jen'?
