I have this friend, and I really like her. She likes me (I think) but not in that way. I find this really confusing because she treats me like utter shit. She's constantly making fun of me, and making me feel bad. And she keeps hitting on my best friend. But no matter what, I always stick by her. She's recently been a total bitch to my friend Tim, and I was all like "No one disses Timmy B." And for the rest of the day I was going on about hating her, but as soon as I see her I start talking to her and stuff. Explain? What do?
Today, February 12, 2011, I asked by phone the girl I have liked for more than 6 months to be my girlfriend and got rejected. I am proud of it.

I'm miserable today, feel like a professional third wheel really.

I used to think of myself as a nice guy, but I've been so disconnected to absolutely every girl I know for the last 10 months or so I think that's the last label I'd use for myself. Although I am going into a house with 5 girls next year and I think they all consider me to be one of those guys (I don't see why they'd want to live with me, otherwise). I'm not sure if this is an ego-thing at all, but I haven't met any girls I'd ever really like to be in a serious relationship with since my last girlfriend (about a year ago). A bit depressing really - I'm such a better person when I'm with someone.
