You want to know the truth? I have it all, the girl, the friends, and the brains, but I choose to sit around and do nothing all day. I have depression, and I take meds. but I can't fathom to really put effort in anything. I'm at a loss at what to do.

I have a lot of friends, half of which share my interests in video games and such, and the majority of which are girls. I am pretty smart, and play piano amazingly, playing popular love songs and the like. I think I look good, I have a smooth face and (from what others have told me) "entrancing eyes", as well as a good personality, but I just can't seem to be able to get a relationship. I'm just not too good with girls, despite growing up with them. (By only and best friends until 6th grade were two girls)

i spend 1/3+(8 hrs) of my day at school, 1/4(6hrs) on the internet, and 1/12(2hrs) at sports, and 1/3(8 hrs) sleeping... (excluding eating and like commutes and shit) generally :saddowns:

That's the thing though, I don't even have an interest in games anymore, and I used to love them. Oh well, my friend is -snip- my iPhone today, so I'll have 25 gigs of games to keep me at bay :)

But our school is quite small, only a thousand or so people, 500 girls on average, half of which have boyfriends (250), 3/4 of which are a grade higher (62), and a lot of these are annoying, ugly, or just simply people with bad personalities.
Oh yeah, and about ten of them are friends.

Whenever I try to get into a relation, there is always some reason why I cannot date a person I love.
Most recent; new girl came into school. She seemed to have a killer personality, which I really liked. About two weeks later (note I made almost no progress in getting to know this girl), I find out from a good friend of mine who is also a good friend of hers that she smokes weed, cigarettes, and drinks. I thought I could ignore such a thing, but as it turns out, I cannot. I'm currently in the phase of starting to lose interest. Inside, I am too much of a good person inside to even consider smoking or drinking.
Previous to her however, I liked this really nice girl who seemed to have similar interested in things I enjoy, one being music. There was one major obstruction however, and that was the fact that someone else liked her, and she liked him back. Since her parents are pretty strict, she could not date until the tenth grade, yet they still acted like they dated. Now of course, they are still together, and I have no doubt that they will be with each other for awhile.
Previous to her, I liked this girl who had no similar interests as I.
I don't have any balls or any real self-confidence. I get so nervous around a girl I like, and it is hard to express myself to her. This is about half of my problem when it comes to dating. The other half is that I seem to like people who are nothing like me.
It seems every person I come in contact with, and if it happens I turn to like the person, there is always something that brings me down from actually getting to know/date the person. I look for a nice person, maybe someone a tad bit shy. I cannot live with myself if I date someone who does drugs. I wish something can go right for me for once.
Oh and one more thing, sometimes I think my dad is a major asshole. At night, he will suddenly turn to a dick when the rest of the day he is cool. Just had to let that one loose.
Oh gawd this is all depressing, and inspiring at the same time.
