Yesterday a girl was hit by a car right next to me. I only saw her lying on the road because I had to get to bus. Yes, someone was calling for help before I noticed her so I didn't just bail out. I have no idea about her condition

My girlfriend's mother is absolutely furious at me for an article I wrote on my blog regarding male sexism and she is threatening our relationship. While I don't think she can do much about it outside of barring me from her house, it still puts a strain on us that my lady and I do not appreciate. She is so goddamn hypocritical. She prides herself as the open-minded and fair view of a democrat but she acts exactly like how democrats and republicans usually act. She is difficult, she is ignorant to other people's views, she is offended and furious at anything she doesn't understand. If it's okay with the majority, I'd be glad to post my article. I'd link it, but she demanded me to take it off my Tumblr before opening up negotiations. It's 865 words.

And it's nothing that is worthy of Writing 227 material, it was just something I pounded out in 3 hours trying to fall asleep. You said fuck a few times, but let's be honest, that's nothing she should concern herself with. Everything was legitimately made points, and you didn't insult women or anything. I really don't see why she got so offended over it.

Theres a girl I like in my math class. She's cute and friendly. When we talk she laughs a lot and even laughed at my stupid joke, she said stupid jokes are funny. I'm thinking of adding her on facebook, but I don't know if it would creep her out since we don't know each other well, but still...Help?

Since this thread is already waste high in teenage angst, I figure I'll piss mine in too. I'm 18 and have never had a girlfriend, or even kissed a girl. It's annoying as shit, and I'm sure there are quite a few Facepunchers who are in the same boat as me. But what's really hard on me, I feel, is that a lot of my closest friends bounce around from girl to girl, and have either had sex or choose to hold themselves back, but have the option to do so, while I'm just desperate for the bare minimum. And I consistently screw myself over with extremely attractive girls who have said later that they would have dated/messed around me, by waiting, and waiting, and waiting for something to happen, instead of being assertive and taking action.

@99% EPIC FAIL That fetish is not at all bad. You don't even need to call it a fetish, really, more of a preference. The secondary portion is a "little" unrealistic, but there's no reason to go out of your way to hide it. It's like hiding the fact that you believe in something unpopular, it does nothing, but makes you feel worse. Feel free to let it out to those you trust, and always remember - the ones who truly love you will accept you no matter what, and nobody's opinion but your own matters. Also, if your worried about your reputation, don't be. When you stop caring about how other unimportant people care about you, even if you don't FULLY believe that idea, it'll make things easier. Now, I know this all sounds like standard relationship advice, but it will work out for your case. My only dissenting opinion and idea is that you should go out with a girl you truly FEEL for, not one your attracted to due to some PHYSICAL aspect of her. Good luck. Also, am I helping anyone?

i'm really excited for friday it's my boyfriend's and my one-year anniversary, sort of.. we dated on and off before that, but yeah. he's taking me out for dinner, it's sort of our first "proper" date seeing as usually we just go to gamestop and complain about them or buy a ton of candy. never gone out for dinner with anyone but my parents. usually really shy about eating in front of people. can't wait though

I suddenly realized, today, that there are maybe three people that regularly talk to me unprovoked... Of the three, one's someone who used to have a crush on me (she's... ugly, thick and unintelligent, from what I can tell) in fifth grade... She should be over it, but seems to want to talk, and has nothing to say. Of course, she can only contact me online, so it hardly counts as anything really important, and I can always just close my laptop and leave if I feel so inclined. It's as if I must start a conversation for other people to want to talk... I'm sure people enjoy talking to me, but it's a bummer that I need to go looking for interactions... Especially when I'm feeling down and just want someone to come up and talk on their own.
