What a huge bitchfest this thread is.
So, that's the second complaint you have posted about how people are complaining too much in a thread created so that people could complain...
Feeling helpful?
My father has a huge alcohol problem. He has since before I was born, when my parents married. He never gets physical when he drinks, but he acts weird and occasionally he used to act like a lunatic chasing my mom around the house. It was bad then, and it's started to get bad again, he promised us he wouldn't drink (he said the book we got him to help said you should go cold turkey, because if you drink once you will want to drink more) but he drank on new years and it's started to become a problem. I really don't know what to do. I am 14, so it'll be 4 more years until I move out. When he's not drunk, he is actually pretty nice dad.
Does he know how badly it affects you?
Maybe he should go to rehab?
I fucking hate stupid people. I want to facepunch someone.
Everyone feels that way about everyone sometime. Just try to relax and remember we're all people.
Idk if you've read this and it may or may not help but it helps me connect with people a lot

Ex still calls me and I hate her, Obsessed with some girl, on the verge of getting kicked out of college for various things
Ex still calls me and I hate her, Obsessed with some girl, on the verge of getting kicked out of college for various things
Do you have a truly rational reason to hate her? What is your relationship with the girl you're "obsessed" with. It's ok i thought i was going to get some crazy ass trouble for being at a party that was busted and after going to judicial affairs and talking to them nothing happened. I obviously don't know the circumstance but just do what you can about it. Things will get better
Well I've started talking to her regularly now, hope this makes her feel a little bit more loved.

That was really sweet and meaningful...
I wish I could think that that was true, or act like it was.
Minutes ago i basically told my GF she is fucking annoying, and it felt pretty damn good.
My uncle abuses me and I like it

I mean, honestly, i feel like there is some truth to it.
We all come from the same humbling beginning and become what we are by experiences and choices. We all start the same way and we're all just people.

God job, man. Stay sincere she sounds like she really cares about you and even though you two have separated she's still a person and there's no sense in wasting all the time you spent with her while you were dating

Then i see no problem with this
I feel like it's a bit off simply, because it's appealing to the "if I hurt them, I'm hurting myself" fear. I know that we're all people, and really are pretty equal, but I can't blame myself for everything I do, because it will all have consequences, and I can't beat myself up over things that will just make me upset. I'd prefer to be a little distant, than to be the loving caring person who gets hurt by everything.
Too bad I'm pretty caring...
i don't really translate it that way. I see it as a reminder that people are still people with lives of their own. Most people have reasons for their actions
I wish I could view the world that way. I feel a sense of surprise every time I realize how complex people are...
It's a problem that I view everyone as shallow or stupid before I meet them, but it ensures that I'm (usually) pleasantly surprised by how nice/intelligent they actually are.
All people are complex, they just may never show that.
All people are complex, they just may never show that.
I realize this, but I can't seem to convince myself to act like that when I'm interacting with people because I seem to be unable to wrap my head around all that individualism.
Well it's impossible to really wrap your head around that. I just try to respect every individual and realize that they too have had difficult experiences that come along with life
Been talking to a psychologist and it came out that I have been suicidal, and now she has to tell my parents about it. Gonna be horrible.
I just developed tinnitus. :smith:

I dont care about what anybody thinks i'll do whatever the fuck i want even if i end up in jail or killed for it. :D All i had really.
Woah it's this thread again. Time to spill feelings~~
I dumped my boyfriend of almost three years and did not regret it at all. He was nothing but caring to me, but his emotional clinginess and his inability to live his own life were bigger burdens than I could bear. Since then, I have definitely fallen out of love with him and refuse to see him on the grounds that I'm afraid he'll get attached to me again if we're around each other too much. I love him as a person, but no longer as someone I want to spend my life with.
Also I like someone else but I'll have to wait a while to see if anything will come from that. Maybe yes, maybe no.
I saw my ex girlfriend for the first time in awhile. We dated for about two and a half years. She's really changed a good deal and seemed really distant and even spiteful. When we broke up we decided we'd remain best friends but we don't really talk too much despite both of us moving on and being in relationships. We had a good amount of differences but it sucks that we aren't as close any more. I made the hardest choice of my life with her and we went through a ton of shit together and sucks because now it all seems like a waste. She and i are just really different i guess.
Sorry for the bump, this has just been kind of bugging me

I feel for you dude, that would drive me crazy.
I'm being an asshole and pissing people I know off without not even knowing it. If I knew what I was doing that I would have stopped a long time ago, but I was never confronted about so I have no idea how long I was doing that. Worst of all I was acting like this to someone I like and consider to be my best friend, I kind of think they link lower of me which is something I don't want them to. I feel like garbage.

maybe you should confront them on how you feel. Just be genuine and let them know it was a misunderstanding and ask them to tell you if you're being a cunt
