I really don't understand why or how you think you're a loser.
Eh, I always attract the wrong kind of guys. Or ones that I'm not interested in. Aside from one guy who, I hope knows who he is, the ones I've been drawing in recently aren't exactly.. uh.. classy? Or intelligent. Or socially capable at all.
That and I guess I've never been too comfortable with my personal appearance. I know I'm not horrifyingly ugly or anything, but sometimes I just feel less than attractive.

Well, maybe you're just hanging out in the wrong areas. Just because you attract people that aren't particularly attractive to you doesn't mean you can't attract someone that is. That's a really harsh assumption that you shouldn't make on yourself. Try to be more proud of who you are and assert it.

Well I guess that's the thing though. I like hanging out with those types of people because I fit in I guess. Not that I'm exclusive to them because I'm not antisocial or anything, but they don't judge me as harshly as everyone else really. And as soon as I talk to them for like less than 5 minutes, they automatically assume that means I'm into them.
Which I guess is.. flattering? But a bit annoying.

Well, I think that's a lofty assumption too, that people that you view as more "classy" are going to judge you. To me, that doesn't signify classy but snobby. I'm not sure what people you're hanging out with or what kind of guy you're looking for but there are a lot of nice, clean guys out there who have bright aspirations and futures. Maybe try talking to people you wouldn't necessarily imagine talking to.

Makes sense. I'd attempt to hang out with other people more, but a good portion of my friends are pothead alcoholics and it's a little hard to hang when you're the only.. uhh I don't want to say straight edge because that sounds like I'm putting my friends down, but you know what I mean.

Yeah well I have a lot of friends who are potheads and stuff and their awesome people to be around but I understand not wanting to be in a committed relationship with someone in that state. Try to broaden your horizon a bit and try new things. Don't obviously ditch their friends but don't dedicate yourself to them either. You're an individual and you have the right to make your own choices of what you want to do with yourself
