Don't get me wrong, I do want a guy who knows his way around games, and I'm even ok with going over and playing some xbox but when that's all you ever suggest that we do, then it just gets boring.
Plus the fact that the kid never even legitimately asked me to be his girlfriend until like a year and a half into the relationship. It was just kind of an unspoken agreement. I kept expecting him to ask on his own, but the only way I got him to was to ask him to.
It was a umm...very odd relationship now that I think about it.

Sounds like it. It should be easy for you to find someone who will be able to ask you out and take you out and show you off and stuff. It seems you just got unlucky with the guy you picked.

it seems the the main problem in the relationship was communication issues, Don't get me wrong, one of those slowly developing romances are awesome, but some guys will use that as an excuse to go full around behind your back because you're not explicately in a relationship with them.
not to mention some guys will just be clueless and assume you're just friends with benefits or something.
Don't get me wrong, I've always wanted to try one of those "Unspoken agreement" type of relationships but my trust issues are through the roof at the moment.

I totally get you, yeah, Generally the only time my relationships end is just out of boredom of each other or out of the opposite party cheating.
I had a girlfriend in which I walked 3 miles or so 4 times every weekend just to see, yet she'd always cancel on me and shit. This was back when I still suffered from love blindness and didn't care, heck I didn't really notice it till after we split. She ended up cheating on me twice at a party I was at, right after I walked out of it. -.-
