I went through a phase when I was younger that I thought brushing your teeth was stupid. I wet the toothbrush and wasted a bit of toothpaste everytime, just so my mum believed I brushed my teeth. Now, my teeth are constantly bad and even though I brush all the time, they will never be perfectly white. I always get abuse from my dentists everytime I go too. :frown: I regret it so much.
I did the same, although mine are pretty whitish. You can get some products which enhance the white color.
How long were you together with your ex?
A year.
A year.
Has your ex tried emailing/texting/calling you to try to be friends with you again like mine? :v:
Yes. A lot actually. I work just down the street from where she currently lives.
Yes. A lot actually. I work just down the street from where she currently lives.
That proves it Makol and I are the same person.
But I don't want to be you.
I've explained to him every little detail of why we broke up and why we're going to stay broken up. He still hasn't picked up on it. And no, I'd rather not get back with him. It's not in my best interest and not worth my time.
well then, he is just acting like a little child trying to get back what he wants. screw him. (i mean ignore him, not sex, just dont want that to come across wrong lol)

New subject: So my first crush (who is a good friend now) has been having issues with her boyfriend. The guy is finishing up school at a county college, but he hasnt found anything that interests him. He isnt good at anything academically, nothing to make a career out of. He is a great bass player and is in a band but i doubt they are gonna turn into anything big. She is nervous for him. What is he going to do with his life, how would he support her or a family, even worse, how would he support himself. I feel really bad for her because although i did have a crush on her, i still want her to be happy, and she really loves him. It's just that this is putting a strain on their relationship. (shes 18 in high school and hes 20 finishing up second year at county college btw). She knows what she wants to do career wise (journalist or newscaster of some sort) so she will be going to college after her senior year is over. What i told her was this, "as long as he is able to make you happy with however little he has, you should be fine." I just want her to be happy and if he can do that, all should be good. I just hope it works out for her, shes a great girl and deserves a good life.
My mate has this ex. This ex has a baby. The babys' father is a semi psycotic nutjob. He beat the crap out of my mate when he found out my mate had dated her for a while, and is currently in prison for bottling a guy in a bar. over a spilt pint. Oh, and aformentioned ex keeps asking me out for drinks. Just me and her. Should i be worried?
depends, do you like her? sure she has a kid, and i would understand if you dont want that responsibility, but would your friend be ok if you dated her? Maybe she just wants to get some stuff off her chest, sounds like shes going through a lot that she might just need someone to talk to. Then again she may just like you.
ahh yes, its al about perception. You can see a message from her as being personal and loving to you, but to her it could be just another message to a friend. Oh wait dont let that bother you tho, im just saying thats what happened to me, when i would talk and text to my crush i interpreted some of her messages as though she liked me, but she really didnt. But we all make mistakes. Anyway i wish you luck and hope that it turns into something beautiful.
Ahhh, how did I miss your reply lol. Well here's a 14 hour late reply. Exactly, I have no idea how to interpret each message or the chats we have so I'm staying in the neutral area between both possibilities. In the end it this can can either be we just stay friends or something comes out of it. I'll be happy with either outcome. Just have to wait and see what happens down the road.

For some reason a lot of guys leave it up to themselves to interpret(is this a word) things that girls say and end up thinking something totally different, whether that's good or bad for them. I say just straight up be all "what does that mean" and see what she says? Unless of course she's the kind of girl who beats around the bush and just messes with your head. In which case, punch her in the nose and ask her what she really means.

Plus stuff that I question kind of comes up at weird times.

Trying to get you to figure it out on your own or something.

How so?
Not explaining that here.
I bottle up emotions, and over the course of 4-6 months Ill gradually get (usually in the last week) angrier and more violent and until something pisses me off or makes me sad and I'll cry for an hour, and then the process repeats. am I normal? like a man period, sort of.
I use to do that so you're not the only one.
i remember reading about that somewhere, that men go through cycles like women, but its more of a mental thing. I find that at times i feel incredibly horny or sometimes very sad and depressed, then i just snap out of it. Kinda weird when i think about it, but it feels normal.
Apparently I am just awful at reading.
I'm honestly getting to the point where for my high school band. I am going to just snap at my music teacher. He seems completely intent on pissing me the fuck off. In my percussion class I am easily the second best at snare and most drums. However he seems intent on pissing me the fuck off by putting me with the people who can't play worth a damn. So while the teacher's favorites are playing festival music I'm stuck playing the ridiculously simple music that even the people who can't play worth a damn should be able to play. They can't. So I'm stuck playing the same freaking measure over and over because the fucking dumbass who got put on snare keeps going "whoops, missed my part." I can't even switch out of the fucking class and away from his bullshit because I need the class to graduate.

That really sucks, have you tried talking to the teacher after class? Thats the only way i can think of fixing this kind of thing.
I fucking hate people who think you dont choose to be gay. No discussion needed. /possible start of war
I fucking hate people who think you dont choose to be gay. No discussion needed. /possible start of war
i think its more of a hate of close minded people. But i agree sexuality is a difficult choice for some people, a lot of factors come into play that i cant even begin to imagine.
Hehe, nah, I'm just an awkward college-girl who gets ridiculously tongue-tied whenever I try to say something long. It get's... awkward, when trying to form a decent conversation, but I don't think most my my friends mind :3:
I guess I'm about 18 hours late since I haven't been on facepunch much at all today, but I wasn't meaning to call you a boy. I definitely didn't miss the part about the pill. I was meaning to point out the irony of you being a girl and sounding the way you do. I'm used to girls being confident and articulate, so I would find it cute for a girl to have the same awkwardness that most guys are going through or have gone through. I've been bitching/whining here a lot lately, and I don't see that happening anytime soon.. Anyways. I somehow managed to start off the day perfectly fine and in a great mood (not normal for me) but now as the day is ending I somehow got into a terrible mood as the day slowly got worse. What makes matters worse is that I have really have no one to talk to at the moment since all my friend are busy or not responding when trying to find someone to talk to. Fan-fucking-tastic.
