My best friend learned how to play guitar when he was 9 and is still playing guitar 7 years later. He can read and write music and I'm pretty sure he's one of the best guitarists in our area. Besides that, he could sing very well and hit notes (and hold them) with ease since he was about 11. I can't play guitar for my life and I've got a better-than-decent singing voice.
All in all, he's a great musician.
So here's Justin Bieber, writing awfully uninspired songs and editing them with stuff like Autotune.
Why should he be so popular if he's not actually good at what he does?
Why should he be so liked (by girls/women) and famous if there are so many others that are so much better than him that just need fame?
Aside from that, my best friend and I used to wear our hair just like he did. We were going for a Beatles look. But of course as soon as Justin Bieber became famous, we constantly got the "is that a Bieber cut?" from people. I said fuck it and went for a haircut like this:
