And really as far as giving to charity goes, I have an obligation to keep giving money until they money I give would make me happier than someone else (so basically until I have nothing left) but I don't do that. However according to utilitarian principles, even bastards shouldn't let the fact they're bastards affect their happiness if they're going to be bastards either way. back with the dog, she had a sedative at the vet but she's trying to walk around anyway she needs help doing pretty much anything because she's ridiculously tired she now has a long scar on her belly from the surgery (I haven't counted the stitches but the scar is 6 or 7 inches long so there's quite a few) she pretty much isn't allowed to do anything for the next two weeks and she has to take a fucking huge pill daily so yeah I'm pretty stressed now
