This is what I do in Rise of Nations, only my ground army is solely comprised of sling-wielding soldiers from the Terra Cotta Army and disappointingly I can never amass enough nukes to cause nuclear armageddon.
I just rush to information age and then nuke their libraries lol

I wish Steam had Homeworld 2.
It's only fun when I'm playing with my friends and we just screw around, but one of my friends plays just about nothing except WWII shooters and strategy games, so he ends up besieging me the entire campaign while I'm trying to figure out stuff and when he stops the siege and offers a truce, I take it to stop the damn bombardment, but as soon as he gets a missile shield up he's back to waging war on me so I end up just nuking myself trying to set off armageddon. It got better after the round was over and one of my friends was watching a replay of me, where I sent my entire cities' citizens off in single groups to do stuff instead of dividing them up to accomplish more stuff at once and he could never get over how weird that was to him.
