Today, I wrote an alternate ending to the movie The Thing.
Here is a small excerpt: [sp] ...Childs began to let out an inhuman moan. MacReady looked up to see Childs' head explode into three even slices and peel away. Childs' right arm had ripped open and a long monstrous limb was growing out of the wound. His left arm had expanded and was covered in pink and red, mucus smeared ridges. His lower abdomen melted into a pile of entrails on the frozen ground, as a long set of twisted jaws protruded from the hole where his head should have been. While this occurred, the moaning had turned into an unearthly, hysterical screaming.[/sp] How close to the movie did I get?

I decided to upgrade to Firefox 4. It seems quite good so far but I really dislike how text appears.

I found it unsatisfying.
Suddenly not looking forward to anything. I used to be looking forward to going back home for april but now I just don't really give a shit because nothing new happens there.
And I was looking forward to seeing this girl tomorrow but I've decided she's not interested in me and I made a bit of a tit out of myself.

is it blurry?
i remember having to edit something like "gfx.font_rendering.directwrite.enabled" in the about:config page during on the beta versions. i think i set it false
