Imo a cover is better when it doesn't sound like the original. if you're doing one just like the original you may as well not cover it at all.
One of my favourite covers recorded is In Flames' cover of Genesis' "Land Of Confusion". In Flames do really good covers.

Their ability to make it blend perfectly with their albums, and it sounds just like an original In Flames song is worth lots of credit. It fits very well. If you listen to the album and then you hear a cover of a [i]pop rock[/i] song on a metal album is not an easy feat. Heard lots of metal bands do terrible covers of rock songs.

I just don't like those specific songs. They don't fit/do the original songs justice. I never said anything bad about any other covers.
And I'm not a big fan of ska in the first place, so take that as you will.
I think that a song "doing the original justice" is completely subjective. personally I think they do very well (then again, liking the actual genre may help :v:)

I just studied the driver's handbook for a week before taking my learner's permit test and just drove around with my parents for driving coaches for a few months before taking my driver's test.
I don't think there's a version of the song Such Great Heights that I don't like.

Anyone got any suggestions? I can boot up in safe mode which suggests it's a driver problem, but I just uninstalled my graphics card drivers and don't even know how to uninstall the others. Sad times.
