Wanted to play some DS3 with a friend, and of course Steam goes down.
Tried to get a good night's sleep for once, went to bed early, ended up watching four hours of youtube videos in bed
These fucking smoke alarms here are so damn sensitive that they go off when my dryer is running which is not putting out any smoke or steam.
Critic shits on good games without giving any real criticism, wonders how he angers viewers. In comments he has said that his reviews are biased, yet the channel is called Worth a Buy and acts as a definitive buying guide.
Please don't bring this guy up again. We had a shitstorm with this guy a couple of years ago and I'd like to forget the ordeal. Guy can't take any criticism.
I knew it! Oh boy, I just looked it up. Thx.
These fucking smoke alarms here are so damn sensitive that they go off when my dryer is running which is not putting out any smoke or steam.
Are you sure it's smoke and not carbon monoxide?
Are you sure it's smoke and not carbon monoxide?
Can't be carbon monoxide, everything here is electric.
people who get those dog whistle or w/e apps that make a super high pitched noise and play them in a public place and act like it's the funniest shit ever also there's two slacker idiots who sit in front of me in orchestra which I really hope get dropped out. They make fun of the teacher, the lessons, everything and constantly make random noises before laughing and giggling. They act like 7th graders despite being sophomores.
Can't be carbon monoxide, everything here is electric.
Most, if not all homes in the US are required to have them, and there are plenty of sources of CO, but yeah, unless you left a car going in the garage, you should be fine. Some early model optic based smoke detectors were a bit dodgy with differentiating between steam and smoke. Could also be a low backup battery in one of the units.
I want to get back into Minecraft, but I'm looking for a server that apparently doesn't exist. I'd like: - SMP/PVE - Relatively few mods, mostly vanilla experience - A playerbase of older teens and adults instead of children - A map that's not infinitely fuckhuge so that nobody ever sees each other - Enough players online that the community actually feels alive What I usually find instead: - PVP servers where everyone's obsessed with defending their homestead - Servers that are so heavily modded that it's not even the same game anymore - A playerbase that's nothing but 15 and unders, including the (horrible) admin and mod team - A map that's so large that there can be 30 people online and you'll never see any of them (and if you happen to build near one, they'll complain) - A server that's hypothetically perfect and yet less than 10 people even know about it - Some combination of the above I especially hate the bolded part. What the hell is the point of playing online if all you want to do is build a giant, sprawling homestead in isolation? I once tried to play on a server where the admin teleported into the secluded forest I was building a house in to tell me that some jackass 600 blocks away was building a city and "had a claim" on the empty field outside the forest, and wanted me to move further away because you could see my house through the trees if you stood at the edge of the forest. He wanted his town to have absolutely no neighbors in sight, now and forever. What's up with that?
I feel you, on most servers I've seen everyone builds so far away from each other, looking for the "the perfect spot" that they might as well be playing single player.
Ugh, my pc keeps giving me random kernel power errors when I play almost any demanding game. I'll be playing fine with no overheating or lagging and bam random freeze at the worst possible moment in game, so I end up dying or losing progress. So fucking annoying. If I have to replace components I'm gunna be pissed.
I feel you, on most servers I've seen everyone builds so far away from each other, looking for the "the perfect spot" that they might as well be playing single player.
That's why I always preferred when servers had invisible (or giant glass) walls to keep players from spreading out too much What is it with the steam community hubs and people from Korea, Japan or Russia taking a picture of some random part of a level and getting 200+ upvotes? I can't tell you how many times I've seen them take pictures of the ground or a wall and it stays up at the top of the community hub for months on end. Is it some sort of joke? I've translated a few post through google translate and it's stuff like "This wall is nice" or "yes" I'm so confused
great now spam callers are stepping up their game by sending me pics of false receipts. fuck off
great now spam callers are stepping up their game by sending me pics of false receipts. fuck off
Start texting or sending them nasty dick pics. When you answer the phone act all creepy and shit too. :qsex101:
More of a very slight annoyance more than anything, but having a bunch of different family members of different... familial titles(?) living in the same home and never quite knowing how to reference the house itself in conversation. My dad, my aunt, my uncle, and my grandma all live in the same house together and I always end up overthinking what I should be calling it whenever I need to speak of it to someone outside the family. If a specific person has emphasis in the conversation I'll often just call it their house, but otherwise... "My family's house" doesn't really work. "My dad's house" is weird because sometimes he lives there and sometimes he doesn't. It's hard to explain, actually. I don't even entirely understand it. Going for either just "my aunt's house" or "my uncle's house" feels weirder than just saying "my aunt and uncle's house", but then it also feels weird to just say that while leaving out just one (or two, sometimes) of the other people who live there, and then saying "my aunt and uncle and grandma (and dad)'s house" is a mouthful. When referencing it to someone close in the family I always call it "Nani's house", and "Nani" is one of those affectionate names or whatever that my brother and I always called our grandma since we were kids. As a result I guess I tend to call it "my grandma's house" the most often. After thinking about it I'm usually just tempted to describe the situation to whoever I'm talking to, anyway.
"I've learnt so much from not being on Facebook for a week, not over relying on social media" - from person who generates shitty unfunny memes 24/7 and then comes back to share more memes every five minutes
-words-
Actually, it's more than just that. The other thing is that there are more family members that live right next door to them. My cousins (technically second cousins but we were always pretty close so we never called them that), and their dad (so technically my first cousin once removed, but we just call him uncle), and their grandpa (my grand uncle) who live there. This one isn't as hard, though. I usually just go for "my cousins' house" because "my uncle's house" is weird when there are two houses right next to each other that that could be referring to. Their mom (the second cousins') also used to live there (so also a first cousin once removed, but I never really called her my aunt, now that I think about it, considering I barely know her) but that hasn't been the case for a long time. The kids have to stay at her house periodically, but I've never been there myself, so it's not something I really consider into all this. However— Up until maybe ten years ago this used to be a three-in-a-row kind of deal. On the other side of my cousin's house there used to be a house with even more cousins and their mom and dad (so another aunt-and-uncle set, though I'm not sure where their exact place in the family tree is). What this means is that there was a period in my life where I could say "my uncle's house" and be referring to one of three separate houses , right next to each other, each with entirely different owners and occupants. They have since moved twice, and are now living up north in Washington. It's been a long time since they would've made this situation significantly more confusing, but one of the cousins from the former group is set to move up there with them, so I'm sure that'll cause reference problems eventually. [editline]zzz[/editline] This isn't something that's normal, right? Just having your family occupy three houses in a row?
Got a rude awakening in this morning. Since my mom is staying over at her friend place,my grandma naturally woke me up. The problem is,instead sending the housekeeper to knock on the door, she just barge in like a cop to a suspect house and its fucking loud. Of course me and my brother are fucking surprised.
Just spent half an hour making a cave texture only to have it all lost because I forgot that Blender doesn't save the image along with the project file. You'd think it would at least say "Hey, you didn't save this texture yet. Want to save it before you close this project?".

Frustration at ArmA 3 for not having proper helicopter/plane crash mechanics. How can it be called realistic if I land just too rough into a tree and explode like in a micheal bay movie. Or even landing a plane too rough can end up in a massive explosion.
I'm jealous that you guys have a fucking housekeeper :v:
Housekeeper are relatively affordable in here. Hell, even one of my friend are average joe but he managed to hire 5 goddamn keepers (if i do that, our credit card will explode :v:).
Official first day of the semester was yesterday. Had homework due on Monday. Which was a federal holiday. :what:
Im a horrible fuck up I just make every one mad at me i cant do anything right
My annoying-as-hell social anxiety. There's gonna be a dude here in like an hour that I've met like once and I have to drive him around, and despite me knowing that it's gonna be totally fucking fine, my body's like "oh I should be worried" and I'm just sitting here like "fucking stop"

I know the feeling. I've found that once things are in motion and going on I calm down a bunch. But its like the waiting drives me nuts.
First,my sociology teacher absent because he is sick. Second,Chemistry teacher also absent, probably he trying to overcome his grief Third,Economy teacher too is sick. Then,my Religion teacher is sick too,but he kept insisting to attend the school Jesus christ, how the fuck this can happens? This is not good.
Whenever my dad threatens to punch me in the face or some sort of physical punishment I die a little inside. Why do I exist in a world where this is socially acceptable to do, while then as thing is to report it?
Great I feel sick and I need to present a report tommorow. Time to email the assistants now to see if I could present it next week.
