One should not be prioritized over another. Some people play for the gameplay, other plays for the story, and to achieve the balance of both is an appeal to both groups, which, beneficially speaking, create a bigger fanbase for you and would possibly maximize your profits as a game developer

System Shock devs switched engines. Now, while I prefer UE4 to Unity in general, I'm not a a fan of engine switches during development of a game. At least they didn't switch to Cryengine, that's a death sentence.

Stories are really easy to write, or at the very least it's very easy to not seem actively bad in a non-ironic way. I don't get how big budget stuff, especially games, manages to fail that. They should have checks and second opinions and the like.

Crappy presentation can make good story taste like shit and vice versa. A storyteller can make you interested in most mundane shit but of course that means he/she had to sprinkle it with few more details to make it appeal/believable.

I cant make up my mind about whether I want to still continue into the engineering world or switch over going into the police The downsides of going into the police is that i'll likely get threatened and cursed at each day in duty not to mention you'll get to deal with some very disturbing situations that can stick with you for the rest of your life. And I feel like that engineering isn't the best thing I can be at, I suck at being precise. Two-sided mind plz.
