I've landed some cool professors by researching them before registering. Of course you don't always really get that option depending on what's available, but if possible you should definitely consider it. Apparently my mom's contract with a company she was working at for a couple of weeks abruptly ended, and she suspects it's because one of the higher ups who didn't like her for some reason was involved. It's a real shame, because it look liked she had a pretty decent job over there.

Just right click thumbnail > Block this channel. I've been using it for about 2 months, and have 2300 channels blocked.

I must've been on YouTube for almost 10 years now, and it's not really a problem for me. YouTube rarely ever recommends stuff I hate - I dunno why you'd need to block 2300 channels.

In my job I was eyeing to get some time to spend some time with the only Linux Server Administrator to learn what the company's servers do and how they all communicate with each other. Only now do I learn that someone else is already being "mentored" by the guy to be of backup to him when he will be unavailable. I understand that the person in question who was chosen is already proven to be loyal to the company and is a very quick learner but he has no experience at all using Linux. I use Arch Linux every single day on my personal computer and would love to have a job based around administrating Linux servers. This whole thing made me quite upset. What the hell am I supposed to do now to progress in this company? I have a good feeling everyone think's I'm dumb as fuck and nobody in IT wants me in their department.

I live in this shitty part of Pennsylvania, where the local mall is pretty much on it's last legs and i found out that they opened up this fffuck huge arcade bowling palace with all the latest arcades from Japan and it's fucking awesome! What's there to be mad about, right? Well after being so happy being in there and geeking the fuck out, my brain just had to say "it's not like you have any friends to enjoy it with." I honestly hate it's true. It's difficult finding people with similar interests here.
